oobleck: we're here to investigate an abandoned urban jungle teeming with death and hostility. you brought, a dog? 

 ruby: i....uhhhhhh

oobleck: GENIUS. canines are historically known for their perceptive nose and heightened sense of sound. making them excellent companions for hunts such as ours

*timeskip*

we've set up camp in a small building and i decided to go in a room by myself because i wanted too. of course, everything didn't go to plan and i woke up to find everyone gone in the middle of the night 

y/n: did they just decide to leave me here. amazing 

i search around for a bit and find a suspicious opening 

y/n: they're 100 percent down there 

i go down to see the back of the train start to take off. i wake of after it with a suspiciously placed bike and i seem to be catching up before realising that the train cart is coming closer and....explodes 

y/n: WHY COULDN'T I GET A NORMAL MISSION WITH A NORMAL TEAM FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE 

after a little bit I finally catch up to the main part and start looking through the carts and find yang fighting ice cream girl 

y/n: am i late to the party 

yang: no you're just on time but you'd probably be of better use fighting roman 

y/n: say no more 

i take off towards the front of the cart to see blake fighting roman 

y/n: HEY ROMAN 

roman: oh not you as well 

y/n: hey blake could you go help the others. i have a score to settle with him 

blake: okay just be safe 

y/n: no promises 

*third person pov*  

roman tries to shoot y/n right after blake leaves but y/n dodges and counters with his own shot roman just manages to dodge, y/n tries to run at him and slash him across the face but he blocks with his cane and retaliates by trying his own couple hits but y/n is quick on his feet and deflects all the strikes, y/n keeps the pace of duel high and returns with his own salvo of attacks striking roman a couple of times. roman was slowly getting more and more tired so y/n goes for the finishing blow and with one last couple of attacks roman was out 

blake: y/n you okay up there?

y/n: yea. what about you and the others?

blake: yea we're all fine  

as she finishes saying that the train crashes through a door knocking y/n out

*small timeskip*

y/n wakes up to see the others being overrun with grimm. he jumps in aid in the fight 

yang: so you finally decided to wake up

y/n: ha ha very funny *said very very sarcastically* 

the fight continues for a little but everyone seems to be getting very tired and their movement was getting sloppy   

*ruby pov*

i was getting slower and slower and i kept making more and more mistakes 

ruby: i don't think i can keep going for much longer 

weiss: me neither 

i look over to my right to see yang also struggle but because i looked away an alpha beowolf got close and struck me and sent me to the floor and i thought it was over and closed my eyes waiting for the next hit to connect but weirdly nothing happened. i open my eyes to see all grimm had....stopped? and y/n's eyes were completely black

y/n: RETURN TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM AND DONT RETURN. NOW 

and incredibly all the grimm turned around and just left, i was about to ask y/n what that was but then he just passed out 

ruby: Y/N!!!!!

*????? pov*

???: so the prophecy is true

??? 2: the mistress will be happy about our discovery

???: she sure will
