Say you'll be mine

Faye:

Oddly enough, our new song is going to be a love song. That's great - sarcastically, of course. Despite being able to control the emotions and outbursts towards Lee and the others and despite not shouting at them recently, by now the band knows about my feelings for Lee. Well, the girls know even H, who assured me that he won't tell Lee when I won't tell him either. I promised him although it's difficult. Like, we're together at rehearsals, I keep staring at him - and now we're doing this music video for 'Say you'll be mine' where we'll act out movies. Each of us girls is acting little parts with each of the boys, meaning that obviously Lee and me are acting together too. True that our movie is no romance movie - unlike the one that Lisa and H are doing but it's still weird.

These thoughts are interrupted now when I stumble against H, making him bursting into his usual happy laughter. "Hey, there's our Faye! Where are you with your thoughts?" he teases. I see, someone's happy with this music video. He talked about his excitement about this video a lot while we traveled to this studio. "I can imagine what you're thinking about. Or rather about whom you're thinking." he grins. "Anyways. Claire asked me to search for you because you and Lee will film your part now. I think they both quite likes their costumes. Can't say that for Lisa, she said she wouldn't buy stuff like these." he says all chatty and with his arms around my shoulders as we walk across the hallway to the filming area. I smile upon seeing Lee looking over to us, welcoming us with his beautiful smile. Don't think like that, why don't you understand it, I scold myself.

"Enjoy filming!" H cheers as I now walk towards Lee, greeting him shyly.

"Hey." he greets back. "Lovely costume."

"Thanks. Yours is great too." I reply, blushing.

He laughs and, for a moment, it's just like it always is. Him and me getting along perfectly, almost too perfectly for simple bandmates - before our director interrupts this moment with telling us that he wants to start filming our part now. Well, thank you.

He starts the music and we start singing along to the chorus and our respective parts, acting out the little part of the movie that our director decided on for us. Gladly the odd atmosphere between us is disappearing slowly as we start to joke around, pulling faces at the camera crew and laughing about us behaving the way we do. Lee spins me around, the music still playing in the background as he puts me down again with a smile.

For a moment we look at each other, both smiling, and - before even thinking about it - I simply just kiss him.

Hearing the camera crew laughing and applauding, they most likely think that we wanted to tease them - or that we were simply acting for the music video. Again we look at each other in silence- before we both burst into laughter laughter. I guess it's fair to say that I'm happy about that, at least Lee doesn't seem like being exactly angry about my actions. I'm so egoistic.

But instead of saying that, I answer is something else. "What? I thought were filming a proper movie!"

A grin appears on his face, almost sheepishly but I don't dare to say anything else because of thinking that he's actually angry. "Well, I didn't knew we're doing a romance movie." he replies back, laughing slightly.

Despite laughing, the atmosphere between us seems so odd now - that's why I continue to talk, doing as if it really was just pure acting and simply staying in my role - and not because I secretly am so in love with him. "But the song is a love song, isn't it? Hey, I was just joking!" I laugh - fake laugh, to be exact - before ruffling through his styled hair. "And you can laugh now, thank you!" I add, acting like thanking for winning an award.

Lee gladly laughs, applauding me too. "Okay, well done. It was great to be your film partner."

Well, thanks for pointing that out, I think to myself and, instead of talking any further, I put my arms around him as we walk back to our dressing rooms.
