Okay so his family is on their way. Why is that so bad? Okay maybe its a big deal and everything can go wrong. I mean its terrible what he did. He did kill someone and not just anyone, it was a freaking MATE!.
"Jake, why are you shaking? What's wrong?" Bella said pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Nothing Bells. I was just thinking"
"Oh...okay" there was silence for a few seconds.
"Bella, when you get home I need you to lock everything, windows, doors, everything"
"Why?"
"I can't risk you getting hurt"
"Okay..."
"Okay..." And with that we drove the rest of the way in silence.

We pulled up to her house and before she got out she turned to me "Be careful Jake. Let me know your coming back"
" I'll come back or die trying" I smirked
"Jake, that's not funny" the tears in her eyes sent a pain to my heart
"I'm sorry"
"Be safe" she told me before she kissed me I watched her get out and walk to her front door. She turned around and waved before watching me drive off.
