Welcome to Chapter 6. I apologize for the last one being short and kind of confusing.  I wrote it on a whim.  This Chapter I plan to do better. Make sure to vote and comment on this if you really enjoyed it.  It really helps me out and makes me very happy.

It was just another day in Adventure Bay.  The wind blowing through the trees in a very calming way.  Basically it couldn't be a more perfect day.  Most of the pups are busy doing there own thing.  They're doing all sorts of things together, so much that I really can't even talk about it all.

Anyway, Marshall and Rocky are deep in the middle of a game of freeze tag with the pups.  Of course, Marshall is frozen while lying on his belly because he tripped over a tree root that was sticking out of the ground.  Skye is the pup who is it while everyone else is her target.  Rocky, who still has yet to be frozen, runs around being chased by Skye.  He jumps, flips, and dodges her at every chance he can get.  At least he thought until he flipped right into her, knocking them both softly to the ground.  "Oops, welp that happened.  Looks like you win Skye!!  Sorry for flipping into you," Rocky says as he giggles out of embarrassment.  "No worries at all Rocky.  Accidents like this happen all the time with us.  No hard feelings at all," Skye says as she stands back up and shakes the dirt off of her fur.

They smile to each other as Rocky also stands back up.  "Looks like that is game everyone.  Skye won," Chase announces as he wags his tail.  Rubble, Zuma, and Marshall unfreeze as they stretch out their bodies.  Being frozen for as long as they have really is draining.  "That was a really fun game," Zuma says as he wags his tail too.  "Yeah it really was an enjoyable game.  It's one of the longest ones we have had in a while.  Boy I am hungry after that heh," Rubble says as his tummy rumbles making everybody laugh.  Rubble always knows how to make everyone laugh much like Marshall does.

As Rubble finished talking, he runs to the Lookout to get something to eat while the rest stay outside.  "Well, what do we do now?" Zuma asks as he looks at the rest of the group.  Most of them shrug while one pup has an idea.  "You and I can hang out together Zuma.  We haven't done that in a while and I'd like the chance to today," Marshall says to the Lab and smiles.  "Sounds great to me Marshall.  What are the rest of you going to do?" Zuma once again asks to Chase, Skye, and Rocky.  "I am going to back to working on stuff in my truck," Rocky says as he walks away from the rest of the group.  Skye and Chase decide that they're going to go see if they can hang out at Jake's cabin.  The pair walk off to the Lookout leaving Zuma and Marshall all alone.

Marshall and Zuma look at each other and smile.  "Well, what should we do first dude?" Zuma asks to Marshall as he wags his tail.  "I think we should go down to the beach." Marshall suggests with a smile.  Zuma wags his tail really fast to this idea.  They haven't been to the beach together since they were needed for a deep-sea research rescue a few weeks back.  "You have the best ideas, Marshall.  Should we take one of our vehicles to drive to the beach or should we race there?" Zuma asks as he looks at Marshall.  "I think we should race there Zuma.  Gives us more exercise and doesn't waste any fuel for our vehicles," Marshall says with an even bigger smile as he wags his tail really fast.

Zuma's face lights up as hears what Marshall said.  They haven't raced each other in a while either.  Both of them are pretty fast runners.  The Lab knows that Marshall is faster, but still wants to race.  "I'm totally down for a race dude.  Been a while since we had one.  Plus, I don't think we've ever had one that long before," Zuma says as he keeps wagging his tail fast.  "We've never had one that long before no.  That's why I suggested it heh.  I had a feeling you would love the idea of it," Marshall says with as he smiles back at Zuma.

The pair then stand next to each other as Zuma marks a line in the grass with his paw.  Once that is finished, both raise their tails into the air and wag their tails in anticipation.  Ryder walks out of the Lookout, and he smiles as he walks over to the pups.  "Hey pups, what are you up to?" The boy asks as he chuckles a bit to himself.  "We're about to race to the beach Ryder.  It's been a while since we have done that, so Marshall suggested that idea," Zuma says as he looks back at Ryder with a big smile.  "Heheh that is awesome guys.  Glad you could find something to do together.  Need someone to count you down?" Ryder asks as he looks at the pair.  "Yeah, we could use that Ryder.  It'll really help us out a lot," Marshall says with enthusiasm.   "I can do that for you guys."
