Shuichi stresses so much over what he should get for everyone for the whole year including birthdays, anniversaries (love and platonic), Christmas, sometimes Valentines, New Years, and other unscripted events. So much so that you can find a roll of paper which is actually just like 23 pieces of paper taped together and rolled up. Each paper is filled front and back, and there are several for every year he's known his friends, so like 4. And then the year where everyone began dating, it ramped up to like 32 papers, and then when he began dating, the rolls of paper had to be moved from the drawer into a closet.
