chapter 39

         //Christina pov//

"Thanks for the ice cream though it was awesome" I say as I drag the word 'awesome ' longer than I expected making me sound quite sarcastic about the whole thing.

"I am so sorry about the car ,your dress is all wet ,your hair is a mess and we arrived super late it's nearly 11 pm" Louise says sympathetically ,ya our little ice cream outing was a havack,first that dumb car broke down in the middle of noway on our way back home ,we tried calling a mechanic but he was way to far from our location,we waited for that idiot but he took so long , which resulted to Louise trying to fix the problem which didn't work since he only made things worst

We pulled the car at some garage that looked really old and deserted ,I fell into a pod of water ,I really don't know how ,one minute I was standing next to the pod the another minute I was screaming ,falling into water and pulling Louise in ,for the fun of it

Despite the terrible things I had to endure for a day I had a lot of fun , Louise was good company in fact he always was good company

"Mr Mendez will kill me" Louise says  obnoxiously  ,what's up with people getting scared of him it's all because of him people here never spoke to me ,he would go and get all of them fired

"Don't worry he won't , he'll understand " I say in a assuring manner as we both walk in the kitchen for some cold drinks of refreshing water and some food,cause I was hungry for the fourth time today ,considering the fact that I ate a burger , cheesecake and a hotdog today and ended the day with another crazily delicious ice cream made from the best

As we enter we see Marcus chopping some fruits in a very annoyed way ,making unnecessary lines on the wooden cutting surface as knifes were layed neatly next to him

"Where did you take my wife Louise?" Marcus asks in a very scary , threatening and cold manner as he lifts the knife up and points it straight at Louise

Louise stutters,his probably losing his job today , a knife comes flying between me and Louise leaving us both in shock ,was he trying to kill one of us?

"I won't ask you again ,trust me I did that purposely that knife should have touched you" he says not looking at me

"We went for ice cream" I say trying to convert his attention cause right now I was feeling so bad for Louise poor guy just stood there

"I wasn't talking to you" he says coldly ,rude much I thought

"But I was talking to you" I don't know why I did that but he seriously had to stop ,he throws another knife our way this time the knife flies  close to my right eye

"Are you crazy what's wrong with you!" What if that knife touched me  ,I don't know what's got into to him but it's not funny

"Shut up Christina ,I wasn't talking to you ,you little bitch ,you want to tell me that you went to get ice cream that you can order at home and it took you this long?"

"Of cause not , how about saying this we went out for a good time I felt hungry and I think you're smart enough to know the rest" I say sarcastically I don't get why it's such a big deal that I went out with Louise

"Louise can I speak to you in private rather " he says placing the knife he was holding in his right hand in the knife holder

"No you can't he didn't do anything and you will not fire him because of some stupid reason ok ,get over yourself" I had it with this firing of people , although it has been long since he did that but now he was mad ,another knife comes flying our way this time cutting Louise in the arm,I   turn as Louise holds his arm pressing on the cut , which was bleeding  I take a cloth on the kitchen table and roll it around  his arm asking him if he was ok ,he nods and smiles

"I apologize for the..." Louise says I cut him off before he continues with an unnecessary apology "you don't need to apologize he needs to go to hospital to deal with his crazy  insecurity issues and problems "

"I wasn't fucken talking to you , would you like me to cut off that tongue of yours and shove  it down your throat ,you know what get the fuck out of here and go to your room like a kid you are " I felt like crying when last did he  speak to me like that,so cold with no emotion in his eyes but only hatred

"You know what you're an asshole" I lash at him he opens his mouth but decides to shut it again considering the look I was giving him and the fact that I was mad

"Louise can you stop being a pathetic pupil and pull yourself together considering the fact that you went joy riding with my wife without my permission , and the fact that you're hitting on "

"You're the asshole acting like a jealous kid here you know what it's late can we all go to bed now" I pull Louise gently so that we can both walk out of the kitchen but he doesn't move completely disregarding my efforts of defence

"You're not the boss here Christina you're just some pathetic girl who found herself lucky enough to marry Marcus Méndez ,a insecure brat that no one loves and that everybody hates so would you want me to continue stating facts or would you go and cry yourself to sleep already " Marcus says ,my tears are bottling up my eyes wanting to fall I bite my bottom lip trying to hold them in

"At least I ain't the screwed up asshole who lied about where he went today I told the truth you know what... forget it " I stop myself from throwing more profanities at him cause right now I couldn't hold my tears back anymore ,all that he said hurt ,it really did cause everything he said was true

I run out the kitchen run up the stack of stairs heading to my room to cry myself to sleep ,I hear Marcus and Louise scream my name but I didn't want to stop running I just wanted to be alone

I was such an idiot to think he loved me or furthermore cared and here I was falling for him.

Hi guys guess Marcus is being an idiot again well sorry for the slow update ,it's just my WiFi is not working at the moment and I sort of lost inspiration so yeah 😅😥
