Avatar Korra (Discontinued)

Part two

A few weeks had passed and since she came to the school, she had her fire bending class with Mako and her earth bending class with Bolin.

Her water bender teacher was a nice woman called Katara that knew her parents, she said that her husband was the avatar before her and that she knew how to handle one. Korra laughed at this and rolled her eyes playfully before she had said that she was better then the last avatar and puffed out her chest dramatically, they both laughed it off.

The first week people were whispering stuff about her behind her back they had multiple thoughts on why she was so skinny, the bruises she had the first day she came there. All different theories some being closer to the truth then others, which scared her cause she didn't want anyone to see her as a weak avatar.

Tenzin had told her that she could talk to the past avatars but she hasn't been able to do that yet, but told Tenzin she would.

She was very good at Water, Earth and Fire bending but she hadn't made any progress with Air. It started to make her frustrated so she continued working on the other elements, she also started gaining more muscles and Earth bending became easier with the day.

Right now she was in an separate room with Tenzin and his daughters plus his son, they were meditating which was a big part of air bending. Tenzin was talking but she wasn't listening to him she was deep in her thoughts about how her life changed so much in only a month.

She was taken out of her thought when Tenzin said her name, she opened her eyes and looked at him with a little blush on her cheeks "Sorry.." He nods and continues meditating and told her she needed to clear her mind and focus on nothing just let the good energy run trough you but after a few minutes she gave up and stood up "I'm gonna get a soda" She said as she walked away while Tenzin was yelling at her.

She walked into the Water tribe hang out hall where she saw Katara trying to grab something of off the floor, Korra was quick to go to her side and pick it up for the old lady. "Thank you Korra" Katara said with a smile "No problem ma'am" Korra responded with a smile, Katara looks at her "I told you you can call me Katara, ma'am makes me feel so old and high up" Katara rolls her eyes and then looked at the time "Aren't you supposed to be with Tenzin right now?" Korra nods and looks at the ground "Sorry ma- Katara" The older woman let out a light chuckle "Tenzin always was determined to reach his goal, and since you haven't got the hang of air bending he is getting frustrated" Katara said "He always wanted to make his father and me proud" She said with a smile "He made Aang and me proud" She nodded a little to herself with a smile as she replayed the memories in her head.

Korra smiles "I really hope I will make everyone proud... I don't want to disappoint anyone" Katara smiles "I'm fairly certain you won't disappoint anyone. Now shall we start your extra water bending class so you can do what you want later?" Korra nods excitedly knowing that Mako and Bolin would have time to train.

2 hours later

She was finally done with Katara and she now was really good at Water bending itself and healing someone.

She ran trough the castle making sure to not get caught by any teachers, she jumped over a few people using her earth bending go give her a little boost. She saw Mako and Bolin in the main hall talking together and she ran towards them slightly out of breath she came to a stop next to them "Hi!" She said smiling "Hey Korra" Bolin said as he gave her a short and quick hug while Mako just gave her a nod as greeting.

"Aren't you supposed to have extra water bending right now?" Bolin asks and Korra nods "But I had went away early by Tenzin cause it wasn't working and I saw Katara so she said we could start the extra now so I had time for myself" Bolin nods excitedly "We can go to the training room" Bolin tells them and both Korra and Mako nod, they start walking towards the training room when someone pushes Korra against a wall and puts something over her eyes so she couldn't see what she could bend.
