i guess i never considered a possibility that kenma would enjoy pastel colored clothes, i wonder what else i'm missing.

kenma dragged me to the stores after lectures ended, from store to store - he couldn't find what he was looking for. i, on the other hand, bought myself some sneakers and a hoodie.

i observed kenma from afar, he was looking at women's clothing, though i am not surprised as some girly things fit him very well. he does have a thin physique, so he tends to buy pants that were made for women. of course, that is a bit weird, he's a boy - how is he not even slightly embarrassed?

i walked closer to him, scanning the many tops he was looking at. without much thinking i picked one, a sparkly golden crop top. i held it up and looked at kenma, who had an eyebrow raised.

"you like this?", i asked.

"it's cute"

"you really think so?"

"yeah, but i don't particularly like crop tops. how about this, though?", kenma held up a t-shirt, baby blue colored with a cute cloud pattern.

"it's not bad...", i couldn't help but notice how...happy kenma looked while picking out his clothes. why.

why is he so happy about picking clothes from the women's clothing store? sometimes i just cannot understand him, but this is an issue for later.

i sighed and walked back to where i was, soon enough i heard kenma at the counter buying what seemed to be some shirts, some pants and a pair of shoes. he approached me with a big smile and 3 bags in his hands.

"i guess the next time i see you sad all i need to do is take you shopping" i chuckled as kenma nodded vigorously.

"i like buying new clothes. oh, we also need to go and buy some cosmetics too. i've run out of shampoo" he said before fastening his pace.

"wait, you didn't even show me what shoes you bought!" i exclaimed jokingly, but the laughter got stuck in my throat as i saw kenma's panicked expression.

did i say something wrong?
