But she loves me, she loves me
Why the hell she love me
When she could have anyone else?
Oh, you love me, you love me
Why the hell d'you love me?
'Cause I don't even love myself

"Mother!"

Elsa and Anna smiled at each other upon seeing the fire prince running to his mother excitedly, his strong arms enveloping the queen's tiny frame; the queen smiling tearfully and hugged her son back, her black hair falling neatly behind her shoulders, her amber eyes meeting her son's emerald green ones.

Elsa could tell her lover looked more like his mother than he should with his father, but it is so fitting. She loved watching how Aiden's soft black
locks sway as he moves wildly, it was random but still.

Behind the beautiful middle-aged woman is a burly man, his tunic covered with a brown fur coat, that looked accurately from a reindeer. Golden rings adorned his fingers, a sash going from his shoulder to his waist. His emerald green eyes glared at the reunion between mother and son, and Elsa wanted to scoff. Aiden had inherited his father's eyes, but his consisted of warmth and an eternal smile.

But this man's were cold, and unforgiving.

He had a head of blond hair, an undercut for its style. A sword is sheathed at his waist, his pale skin sweating profusely in the sunlight.

That, is King Abaddon, ruler of the Northern Isles, the man Aiden had secretly despised yet coped.

Helena then pulled away from her son, her eyes now focused on Elsa. Aiden said something to her, yet she and Anna couldn't understand it since they were a bit too far from the main docks.

Helena grinned and ruffled Aiden's hair, pulling him towards Elsa. Once they reached the siblings, Aiden wrapped his arms around Elsa, proudly saying, "Mama, this is the most amazing girl I was talking about in my letters!"

Elsa blushed, squeezing Aiden's hand for support. The queen giddily hugged her fellow younger queen brightly, whispering to her ear as she did, "You have melted my son's heart. However could I thank you?"

Elsa smiled, holding the other queen's hands, "You don't need to. He's precious."

"Aiden! She's so beautiful! No, she's gorgeous! How do you even manage?" Helena teased her son who rubbed the back of his neck, "I barely do." He said, kissing Elsa's cheek. Helena clutched her heart, "How adorable. And, who might this lovely lady be?" She motioned to Anna.

"Hello!" Anna greeted energetically, shaking the queen's hand, "I'm Elsa's sister, Princess Anna of Arendelle, but please forget formalities, call me Anna."

Helena embraced Anna instead, hugging her tightly, "Nice to meet you, Anna. Please, call me mama Helena, I would prefer that, same to you, Elsa. My son has chosen very well." Helena smiled widely, "Oh Aiden, they are both delightful!"

Aiden smiled, "They really are. Especially this cutie." He pinched Elsa's cheek, Elsa swatting off his hand playfully, "Hey!" She yelped in protest.

"I highly disagree, you're adorable." Aiden took Elsa from his mother's grasp, wrapping an arm around her waist protectively, whispering, "Ready to meet my father?"

Elsa nodded weakly, nervously biting her lip, "I don't know. I guess."

"Let's go."

Abaddon's eyes turned to the approaching couple, his thin expression turning curt once Aiden bowed down to him formally, "Father."

Abaddon bowed slyly, "Son. Queen Elsa, it is so... Nice, to meet you." He gave her a bow, his palm stiffly on his chest as he did, a frown almost recognizable on his face.

Elsa sweated nervously, already could tell Abaddon didn't take a liking to her unlike Helena. Aiden had told her last night that his mother and himself share the same power of flames, and it is the main reason his father despises his mother, Elsa putting two and two together, knowing she had powers and the king would be uncomfortable at the thought.

The king shudders as she shook his hand, but kept up an uncomfortable smile, Elsa then beginning to feel the frost in her fingertips.

"Uh, why don't we take this to the castle instead? We have prepared food and we would really like for you guys to eat, so you can rest from your voyage." Aiden offered, taking Elsa's shivering hand and wrapped his around hers to make it not obvious.

He sensed his father's discomfort, that's why.

"I would like that very much, son."

Silence.

Kristoff, Anna, Elsa, Aiden, Queen Helena, and King Abaddon silently ate,  Helena squeezing Aiden's hand after seeing the northern king tremble as Elsa produced ice in her drink, finishing her food completely. She quietly sat next to Anna and Aiden, her sister rubbing circles around her back soothingly because she sensed her nervousness.

Kristoff wanted to glare at the king, seeing his discomfort through Elsa's powers. Anna glanced at him warningly, Kristoff sighing and finishing his steamed carrots.

Aiden cleared his throat, deciding to be the ice breaker, "Um, mother, how was your voyage? Hopefully you didn't get seasick."

Helena answered plainly, twirling her fork, "It was fine."

Aiden knew she was feeling anxious lately, since, he knew his father too well. He wouldn't let a single voyage of his mother be peaceful at all.

"Oh, what about we talk about you, Aiden? What caused your delay upon your supposed arrival?" Abaddon coughed.

How rude. Anna thought, frowning.

"I... Father, may I speak with you forwardly?"

Elsa squeezed his hand, tightly. Frost began to form in the arms of the chair, her hands trembling. Aiden smiled comfortingly, taking a deep breath.

"Hmm... You may." Abaddon hesitated.

Kristoff rubbed his forehead, this guy is getting on my nerves.

"Father, I have decided to stay here in Arendelle permanently."

Abaddon's face darkened, standing up mightily from his seat, "Excuse me?" He growled.

"Yes. That's my final decision." Aiden declared, standing up from his seat as well, heat beginning to radiate from his palms.

"I have taught you everything I know, I gave you everything the kingdom has to offer, and you know it yourself you're an only child, then you decided to stay here?! How selfish can you be?" Abaddon yelled angrily, slamming his hand down the table.

"At least I'm not as selfish as you are, screaming at his wife every opportunity you get!"

Everyone gasped at Aiden's brave statement.
