"It ain't been in a while. E'erybody wanna attach strings and bullshit."

Carter winced slightly as Carlos heavily patted his shoulders, Carlos nodding to show understanding of his friend's dilemma. "I got you," he then stepped away from Carter, eyes scanning the room. Whistling, he caught the attention of a busty girl with wild ginger hair. Motioning her forth, a smile dominated the girl's face as she began walking over, ditching the boy she'd been with a minute ago. "I fücked her a while back. She's a good lay. A real freak."

"Alright, boss. If you say so."

Once the girl reached close enough, Carlos gripped her chin. Immediately under his command, her lips parted and her eyes glazed over with lust as she stared at him, oozing desire. "Lindy?" he guessed, to which the girl quickly bobbed her head. "Show my boy Carter here a good time, sim?"

Lindy's heavy gaze switched to Carter. She clung to him as Carlos released her, like a disgustingly cheap leach. "Hi, I'm Lindy. You're Carter?" she first spoke, a faint British accent clinging to her words.

Carter nodded. They engaged in some casual conversation as she led him away, to a remote location.

Watching them go, Carlos's attention was solely on Xander afterward. "Just tell me if you need a bïtch, Blaze. Maria won't mind if it's one of my girls. They're clean."

"Whatever," Xander said. He ignored Carlos's glare as he stood, jerking a finger in the other direction. "I'm going for a walk, yeah? Be right back, or not."

"Sim. And by the way, we have a meeting today, same time, same place." his lips pulled back to reveal sharp sets of teeth as he lifted his hand to fist-bump Xander. The dark-haired one of the two stuffed his hands in his pockets, blatantly ignoring the gesture, to which Carlos snorted and dropped the act too. "You made the wise decision when you joined us," he said. "You're gonna thank me in a few years, Blaze. I promise you."

Carlos stalked off in the direction Silver and Purple went, no doubt to finish what he'd started earlier. Glancing around the room for a quick second, Xander didn't spot Maria and frankly speaking, he didn't care where she was. He wanted to be alone for a while with nothing but a cigarette and his thoughts.

That's exactly what Xander planned to do as he walked to his car, only to be prevented from doing so once he saw Carter leaning there, arms crossed. Lifting a brow, Xander silently questioned Carter as to where his hookup went.

"Eh, her boyfriend saw us. He wasn't happy at all, bro." Carter chuckled at the memory. Unable to find the joke in the situation, Xander blankly stared at him until his laughter died down. He gestured to his car and Carter blocking the door, but the red-head didn't budge.

"Move, yeah?"

"Nope," Carter said. "We gotta talk."

"I don't want to."

"Well, you ain't got a choice. It's either that or you fight me." Carter offered. His lips then thinned into a fine line, signaling that he was serious and wouldn't be moving any time soon. "Your choice."
