Sighing, she faced her brother, eyes narrowed, glossy pink lips pulled into a small frow. "Knock it off, Rapháel. Xander nãoéhomossexual. Not everyone will turn out like Elio."

Carlos scowled at the mention of their father, but minutes later, he dismissed it, breaking the tension as he laughed. "Eu sei, eu sei. Lighten up, Blaze. You know I'm just fücking with you."

Xander's grip eased up, just a little, but his other senses remained on high alert, specifically the eyes of some girls and guys surrounding him, most likely flirtatiously, but either way, he shot a dark glare that way and that rectified the issue. "Where's Carter?" he decided to ask, turning in his seat so he could better scan the area around them. Throngs of teenagers flocked the area, some plopped the itchy seats of the beanbags, dancing to music, flirting with another or merely just having a good time. But amidst the sea of vibrant attitudes and hair colours, Carter was nowhere to be seen and Carlos's face contorted into confusion, as though he didn't recall who exactly went by that name.

"The fück am I to know?" he scoffed once he recalled.

Speaking of the devil, another joined their small party, announcing his presence. "Who's asking?" the red-head teased aa he struck a small pose, slipping his fingers through his hair, but his mirth dissipating upon assessing the mood sifting between his friends. Before he could ask, someone was already speaking.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, idiota? And where the fück were you? I called you ten minutes ago." Carlos carefully assessed him.

"My bad, boss. Had to finish up that dumbass math project," he explained. He acknowledged his black-haired best friend and Maria, after which he swiped one of the unopened beers on the bar counter and took a large gulp. "Sup, Xandie?"

"The math project with that freak?" Carlos interrogated, bringing Carter's attention back to the subject he expertly tried to dodge.

However, the redhead only blinked in confusion. "What freak?"

"The fück who punched Blaze here," Carlos demanded as he angrily illustrated one person punching another with his hands. "The other ass-fücker. The same one I told you to stop hanging out with."

The red-head visibly winced as Carlos stood to his towering height of six feet four inches. Backing up a little, Carter let out a nervous chuckle, scratching his head. "Uh, oh, yeah. But it's alright, you get me? It just be school work."

Carlos stared at him for a long moment, as if he was mentally discerning whether or not Carter was telling the truth. Whether he grew bored or convinced was a mystery, but either way, he looked at his sister and said, "Give us some privacy, sim? I want to talk to my boys a bit."

"I'm not interested anyway," Maria revealed, shrugging in blatant disinterest. She left and joined a nearby group of girls, but not before kissing Xander goodbye.

"So," Carlos began, eyes boring right into Carter's. "When's the last time you slammed a chick? Because somebody else here needs help getting it up for some goddamn reason."

Xander drew in a harsh breath. He ground his teeth in his lower lip to bar himself from saying anything.
