Redolence

A beautiful, bright, summer morning,

Silver clouds rippling in blue elysium;

A gust of fresh wind ruffled my sleeves.

On my desk, I set a cup of chamomile tea

Sweeter than any fragrance could ever be..

Yet the bouquet of old books infiltrate me;

And then, I was reminded of your kiss last night

Redolent of coffee, vanilla and cinnamon

Drugged, I relived the reminiscence - a poetry in motion.

Now I'd like to take

A few more of your moments
