(Written for November is Fleeting, 2019 contest organised by WattpadPoetry)
After a long, long time, today,
In a foggy forest, I caught a glimpse of her.
A misty veil slightly covered her face,
Fine inlay of light and shade draped her grace;
Sparkling dots of dewdrops, glowing on her cheeks,
On fallen leaves, lying on the grass,
Beneath her feet; when vagrant breeze
Touched those desiccated, forgotten flowers.
For a fleeting moment I was dazed,
By kaleidoscopic display of her coloured rays;
Then I woke up from my dreamy, drunken slumber
And smiled my sweetest at the morning sun of November.
Now I'd like to take
A few more of your moments
