Xavier Zander had these solid, loving feelings for Leo Lyron.

But unfortunately, Leo's in a relationship with Rosie Rainly. She isn't a royal. But she has been made a princess as Leo, one of the princes, is in love with her.

Xavier eventually starts to lose hope of becoming Leo's lover. Seeming as he already had one, Xavier decided it wasn't worth it.

It was a rainy day. Xavier went out for a walk in the rain, holding an umbrella above him.

Xavier seemed depressed. The others were so focused on Leo and Rosie that it's like he's been forgotten.

Stopping in front of the crystal lake, Xavier looks at his reflection. He hated everything about himself.

He hated Leo for being allowed to bend the rules and ignore destiny.

This destiny was set, and Xavier had massive hope in it. But ever since Leo and Rosie became a couple, Xavier has started losing hope, but he keeps trying his best to get Leo's attention.

Then, noticing nothing was working, Xavier continued to lose more and more hope.

He has very little hope left. Xavier heard the rain starting to become heavier. He headed back to the castle.

Xavier closed the umbrella and quickly went inside. He puts the umbrella away in the umbrella stand.

The attention is all on the couple, as usual. Xavier sighs. Even his own family, who live here with Leo and Rosie's family, have all their attention on Leo and Rosie.

Xavier feels piece by piece of him die every day. He feels worthless and useless.

The crush Xavier had for Leo continued to attack him. Xavier hated he was attracted to someone who was taken.

Xavier walks to his chamber bedroom. It's meant to be beside Leo's, but as Rosie is Leo's lover, her main bedroom is beside Leo's main bedroom.

Xavier is the one who is a true royal and does not get much of any luxury.

Xavier decided to go to bed. It was night-time, late at night. He changed into his sleepwear and got into bed.

Making sure all lights were off in his bedroom, Xavier laid down, curled up into the bed sheets and fell asleep.

The following day, Xavier woke up feeling miserable as always.

Xavier dragged himself out of bed and got into his Prince's royal uniform. He fixed up his appearance.

Looking at himself in the mirror, Xavier didn't even seem or feel like a Prince.

Xavier let a strangled smile appear on his lips before he leaves his chamber bedroom.

He avoided looking at anyone. Xavier let the strangled smile leave his lips. He seemed upset at this point.

Xavier found his life purposeless. He wanted closure. He wanted to be a Prince but be one.

Stopping and looking out at the view, Xavier felt his eyes begin to water. He was overburdened, being strangled.
