The next morning I went straight to SM to terminate my contract. I thought it would go over smoothly, but SM always has to be the last one standing.
They had denied for me to terminate my contract and the only two options I had left were to 1) stay in SM until my 8 year contract expires or 2) File a lawsuit against SM.
It was obvious which choice I chose...The lawsuit.
We took the case to court and had the judge decide. In the end I won the case but I still had some consequences, I wasn't allowed to release any musical content for 2 years. But that was a consequence I was ok with as I wasn't planning on releasing any music any time soon.
After the lawsuit I saw a few of the SM artists approaching me, I tried to turn and walk away but they stopped me.
I took a deep breath and spoke looking directly into his eyes.
"What do you want Taemin" I spat with venom.
