I'm also behind Mom and Dad. They're talking about Britain.

I hear a noise. Both Grandpa and I look up at he bushes. Mom and Dad didn't hear anything and keep walking.

Munchkin turns and sniffs the air, then walks back over to us and sniffs Grandpa.

A twig snaps in the woods and suddenly I can't see.

I try screaming, but my mouth is covered.

I can't get away.

*+*Later*+*

The thing stops covering my eyes.

I look around. My hands are in handcuffs.

I start crying. Grandpa appears. I ask "C-Can y-you get M-Mom and D-Dad? I-I'm scared."

He says "I can't leave you here! And they can't see me, I'm a ghost."

"How can I see you, then?"

"I don't know."

I get an idea. "When it's nighttime, talk to them in their dream!"

He smiles. "I'll do that."

Suddenly a door slams open. I look over to see Britain.

He asks "Who we're you talking to?"

"Grandpa."

Britain looks around. "There's no one here."

Then he glares at me. I back up until I hit the wall.

He picks me up by my neck.

I cry, struggling to breathe.

Grandpa tries to attack Britain, but goes right through him.

Britain shivers and drops me. "Oh, there's a chill in the air... CANADA!"

A country with a red leaf on his face pokes his head into the room. "Yes?"

"Watch the prisoner. I have to increase security. This child was talking to someone."

Canada nods and Britain leaves.

Canada sits down in the room with me. Grandpa stands next to me. I look at him. "Go get them, please."

"I can't leave you here! What if-"

"If you don't go, It'll get worse! Go now!"

He nods, then disappears.

Canada asks "Who we're you talking to?"

"Grandpa! Only I can see him, but he's nice! And tall!"

Canada gives me a weird look and I stop talking.

Then he asks "How are your parents?"

"They're really nice. They take good care of me, and they tell me awesome stories of some people stuck in a town full of bad guys. Even the one person's family was bad!"
