~✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ WHERE IS EVERYONE? It's so dark, I can't see a thing. I extend my hands, wondering if they'll touch anything beyond the pitch black. They don't.
"Hello?" I timidly call out. No one likes the dark. You're so vulnerable. "Hello..."
"You don't know how."
A familiar voice echoes. I've heard that line before. In one of my dreams.
Wait. Is this a dream?
Suddenly, a light illuminates my surroundings. I can start to make our tiny, fuzzy details. But, most importantly, I can make out myself.
Crying. I'm crying.
I'm back home. The reflection of the bright snow reflects the honey sunlight. I'm roughly seven or eight, sitting on a ledge near the waters. Watching Southern Water Tribe ships sail away. Hakoda must have just left for war.
A feeling, a heavy burden sits on my chest as I watch myself choke back tears.
Just like it's pure magic, the scenery changes, making me shift to a more alert state. I'm now at current age, still in the same position as I was before; crying.
Only this time, I'm not at home. I'm in an Earth Kingdom village. Haru's village. The village I first saw my father in the flesh. Well, sorta.
My eyes glaze over the events unfolding. My father slips away into the wind, disappearing.
I've already seen this. I've already lived this. Why do it again?
Again, the world changes. The swamp. I'm in the swamp.
No, no I know what comes next. There I was again. Sitting on an old stump, discouraged that I couldn't find Katara, Sokka or Aang.
Then, all of a sudden, a bloody figure appeared. I tried to close my eyes, I didn't want to see my mother in that state again.
However, my eyelids wouldn't fall. I couldn't peel my aqua iris's away. I watched as she reached out her hand to past me, I watched as she blamed me.
I would try to speak, but nothing came out, I was mute.
Turn away, Saki. Turn away.
