jason has an odd affiliation with women.

after his mother died, the only person he could depend on was himself and thalia. however, he had had a girlfriend at his last school, reyna ramirez-arellano.

tall, slender, beauty of pure muscle and beauty. she was reminiscent of an amazon warrior, brave and confident. in jason's eyes, she was the most beautiful woman he thought he would've ever laid eyes upon.

until maybe piper.

he hadn't even known the girl for a full day, yet he could already tell that she was going to surpass any previous girl he'd been associated with.

he realized this upon her absence, as he aimlessly walked the halls, thinking of the first few periods. how she made him laugh so easily and the reciprocation.

he was hoping she would text him, because he couldn't wait to talk to her.

however, the longer he walked, the quicker he realized he was already lost in the school.

"damn, how did i already forget where she told me to go?" he whispered to himself.

he looks down the hall to see another girl, smaller with curly hair and dark skin, he beckons towards her.

"hi, um, can you help me find the cafeteria?" he says with a small laugh.

she gives a slight smile, "of course! i'll take you there!"

"thanks... i'm jason by the way."

"hazel."

"are you new here?" she asks him, politely.

"yeah, today's my first day. i had a tour guide, but she left."

she nods in understanding.

they walk in silence for a while, taking a few turns before arriving at two large double doors.

"here we are." she says.

he opens the door to seemingly hundreds of kids in a large room with windows lining the walls allowing rays of sunshine to spill in.

"wanna sit with me?" hazel asks.

"yes please."

i swear i suck, i'm so sorry. i don't know what to right, i know where it's going, i just don't know how to get there.
