You smile as you race up the stairs leading to the club's rooftop. Your combat boots echo off the stone steps, seeping into the metal walls. Loud racing footsteps follow your lead as you take a left turn. Your hear the metal door squeak open as your boyfriend, Cole steps into the narrow room. He runs up the stairs, stepping at the end of the first flight. You turn to face the railing, your gloved fingers wrapping around the cold metal bar.
You lean forward, your long (h/c) locks falling over your bare shoulders. You giggle while you look down at him. He's rather tall with a muscle frame. His ginger locks are spiked up in several places as his venomous green eyes glow in the dim light. A leather jacket with a red tank top, ripped black skinny jeans, and combat boots make up his outfit.
"Where you leading me?" He asks, tilting his head to the side. You playfully grin at him and prop your arms against your chin.
"To the roof, silly," you reply as your face lights up like a kid hyped up on candy. He slightly shakes his head and walks up to you.
"What for? I was making a business deal with a party in the club."
He gently takes your chin, lifting up your head as you twirl around to meet his eyes. You pout, a frown replacing your grin. He sighs while placing his other hand on top of your head.
"Doll, you know, I have to do this. If I don't I won't be able to get started with anything," he says, loweimg his voice and ruffling up your (h/c) locks.
"I know, but.....----you take his wrist, your nail polish glittering in the light.
"I miss you alot. You're always busy with business and I'm worried it'll end up taking a wrong turn. I mean you're willing to go into the criminal career. Could you just spend this one night with me and I promise, I won't bug you until next week," you mumble, kisses each of his knuckles. He sighs as his pale face fades into a light pink shade.
"Okay, fine." You automatically smirk while lacing your fingers with his. You giggle like a little girl as you lead him up the rest of the stairs and out of the door to the roof.
Night air blows your locks out of your bright (e/c) eyes, a shiver going down your spine. The moon lights up the sky like a beacon as music echoes from several buildings holding parties or late night events. You walk up to the edge of the roof, Cole glancing around cautiously.
You raise an eyebrow while letting go of his hand. You climb onto the railing along the roof, your combat boot heels digging into the stone. He sighs, leaning forward and propping his elbows on the railing.
"So, have you thought about my question?" You walk along, placing one foot in front of the other and standing next to him. You sigh, managing to sit down without falling.
"I'm only sixteen. That's no way I could never be your partner in crime. I'll have all the guys starring at me like dinner,---- you pop your neck, leaning back. Your head hits his chest gently while he wraps both arms around your waist and holds you place.
He snuggles you close as he lays his head on your right shoulder.
"You won't have to worry about being a minor or the creeps. I'll take care of you, sweetheart," he whispers in your ear making you shiver against him. He smirks wickedly, kissing your neck with hesitation.
Suddenly, your phone goes off breaking the silence of the night and runing the moment. You sigh in disappointment, reaching into your jean jacket and taking out your cellular device. You quickly type in the code as Cole continues to kiss your neck, reaching your right shoulder blade.
Your heart speeds up, butterflies settling in your stomach. You glance at your screen. Your eyes scan over a message your dad sent you thirty minutes ago asking you to come immediately. You bite into your bottom lip, slipping the phone in your jean pocket and gently poking his cheek.
He automatically stop kissing you and lifts up his head. He looks at you with confusion flickering in his pupils. You lean back even more, kissing his nose passionately. Then, you giggle while placing a hand on top of his head.
"You have to take me home. My dad just texted me and he wants me home, right now," with a sigh, Cole helps you back into the roof.
(Thirty minutes later)
You smile up at him, leaning forward and turning around. Your two story house sits peacefully on the side of the street, blackness leaking from the windows.
"Thanks for taking me home," you say, gently kissing his cheek. You open the door and step into the street. You walk across your yard as the vechile disappears in the shadows.
You sigh while speed walking up to your door. You wrap your fingers around the doorknob, pushing the door forward. You frown as the door opens without hestiantion. You raise an eyebrow, carefully stepping into the darkened living room.
"Dad, where are you? Did you knock the power out, again?" You shout while stepping forward. Suddenly, something hits the back of your head.
You stumble forward, pain blooming in the middle of your skull. Your vision sways as you try to find something to keep you up right. Unfortanlty, your fingers find air making you fall forward. Your side collides with the floor as pain circulates throughout your body.
The last thing you hear is a high pitched laugh of mockery before, everything fades away.
