During their wait for the stallion, Omorose had become more fluent in speaking American. She was able to say more sentences without hesitation or mistakes. She got better at reading the stories Larry would bring, though her native tongue could still be found in her newer voice.

A different night brought out both the stars and a full moon. Omorose smiled to Ahkmenrah as he helped her out of her sarcophagus. The sound of horrible restlessness nearby distracted the two from each other. He was finally here. The stallion was sealed up tight in his large sarcophagus desperate to get out. Ahkmenrah was seeing deja vu yet again, the sight of struggle jarring memories of his own experience. He never thought he'd have to see it a third time.

The more Omorose-Nawa removed the lid, the more relieved Ahkmenrah felt knowing it'd be over soon. With it standing upright, that made it easy for the animal to swiftly burst out in a bucking fit. Ahkmenrah pulled Omorose out of the way just as the horse grazed her body.
"Yee-haw, partners! Now that's a bronco if I ever did see one!" Jedidiah exclaimed.
"My, they certainly went all out with his appearance as well..." Octavius thought aloud. The horse's head and neck were covered in a large golden, black and blue headdress, with golden plates on the front of his legs and hooves. Even the top of his tail had golden armor over it, and his back was covered with soft brown cloth.
"No expense was spared for Anubis' Dancer." Ahkmenrah held up his hands. He hoped maybe the ancient horse would remember him, trying to get him to relax. The Neanderthals were grunting and jumping, pointing at the chaos erratically. After being so cooped up, the stallion must've felt better being out since it didn't take long for him to settle down. He snorted a few times with a head toss, and calmly walked up to the pharaoh.
"That is more like the beauty I once knew." Ahkmenrah smiled, placing his hand on its shoulder. Omorose-Nawa released a sigh of relief and walked up beside him,
"Does he have a name?"
"My mother refused to name him herself, for she wanted you to have the honor." He saw a smile gradually etch across her face,
"What ideas do you have in mind?"
"Abasi."
"It suits him, my love." Ahk grinned as his arm wrapped around her waist. She leaned her head on his shoulder,
"He's beautiful." She commented while looking into Abasi's eye. Ahkmenrah then stepped back to help her climb on. His heart smiled at the sight of how happy she was. She was hugging and rubbing Abasi like she'd known him all her life. Omorose offered her hand to the pharaoh and helped him up onto Abasi's back behind her.
"I have a splendid idea! How about we all go for a stroll? Sacagawea and I can join you on horseback." Teddy commented excitedly. Ahkmenrah nodded with a smile,
"Yes, good idea." He watched his friend climb aboard his own horse,
"Shall we, my dear?" Teddy's hand was stretched out to Sacagawea, and she happily joined him. Then began their walk, with Larry and others on foot taking the lead. The pharaoh never stopped smiling, resting his chin on Omorose-Nawa's shoulder with hands on her hips. She started giggling when he kissed her cheek continuously, playfully fast or slow. Jed glanced behind him only to grumble,
"Oh here we go."
"What?"
"Can't cha see they're playin' kissy kissy, Octavius?" The cowboy pointed behind him.
"That's seriously what you're calling it?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Well what else would yu call it?" Jed responded defensively.
"I suppose just the word kissing would suffice, wouldn't it?"
"Oh whatever Octo-boy. Either way it best not go any further in my presence." Octavius then patted Jedidiah and pointed behind them,
"How about in no one's presence?" Now neither Egyptian was in sight. They had snuck away from the group, straying down a different hallway. Omorose lead Abasi back to their exhibit, with Ahk kissing her neck the whole way. Once they were alone, Ahkmenrah decided to climb off, bringing Omorose with him. He took her deep within the exhibit, behind a wall so it would be just the two of them. He playfully pulled her over to the wall, pinning her against it. Ahkmennrah let his hands work their way up her sides, moving ever so slowly. Omorose gasped and closed her eyes, tilting her head back as far as possible. With her neck exposed, he saw fit to kiss her there. Omorose smiled while playfully biting her bottom lip. Ahkmenrah dragged a kiss up her throat to her lips. They shared a long and loving kiss before slowly pulling back,
"I love you..." they whispered in unison, causing each other to smile widely. He then quickly starts kissing the side of her neck. Both had become utterly addicted to the other. Omorose-Nawa slid her hands softly up his chest and underneath the wide collar worn around his neck. She felt the scars from his stab wounds, at least the ones that were in front. Many more decorated his backside, which she felt when her hands moved to there. Her heart ached with such horror at the fact her demise was far more merciful.
How could he have done this to you?
She removes his long shoulder cape and hears it drop to the floor with the wide collar. Omorose slowly kisses all the scars she could find, one by one despite there being dozens. With his upper clothing off, she could better see just how brutal Kahmunrah was to his younger brother.
"You didn't deserve these..." she whispered softly. He could feel himself just utterly melting from her soft touch, especially when one of her kisses landed right over his heart. His hands made their way onto her waist, now holding her hips.
"Our scars now bring us closer together. We can now protect each other, for I am yours." He gently took hold of her wrist, kissing the marks where the fatal snake once bit her. Omorose hummed sweetly and kissed his nose,
"You'll forever be my handsome pharaoh. Scars or not." Ahk's smile widened at her words, instantly grabbing and lifting her up in his arms.
"You'll always be my dancing tiger lily." Her legs wrapped around his waist as she laughed when being brought into the air. Omorose happily removed the crown on top of his head. Now she was able to slide her hands through his hair, loving how wonderfully soft it was. Ahk kept his eyes on her smile. He longed to kiss her again. When her eyes went back to his, she let her hands go down his cheeks. All Omorose-Nawa could think about was how wonderful Ahkmenrah treated her, how much she loved him. She knew she was far better off with him than Kahmunrah. Though the evil pharaoh still haunts her dreams, it's been happening far less lately. Suddenly her thoughts were interrupted when he pressed his lips on hers. She lovingly traced her fingers down his neck as he pulled back,
"So long as I stand before you tonight, I shall never let anything happen to you." Ahk whispered not even inches away from her face.
"So long as I may still have the gift of dance, I will never leave you." Omorose felt her feet touch the ground once he'd set her down.
"My darling sapphire, you dance with the gift of grace," he playfully kissed her cheeks a few times to make her giggle, "And the gift of a radiant smile." She blushed with a shake of her head, and gave him a peck on the lips. Ahk chuckled softly,
"We should probably get back with the others."
"Must we?" She lovingly brushed her lips over his to tease him. He almost fell for it by preparing to kiss her back, but caught himself.
"Yes, for they are probably looking for us. If not just wondering where it is we went." He felt his heart thump loudly when she traced his lips gently with a finger. He knew the words he'd spoken were just lies. He didn't wish to find the others. What he really desired was to show her endless love and affection. He carefully removes her Anubis headdress, setting it next to his crown. He now saw her full head of fairly long and smooth blonde hair. He placed his hands on her cheeks, traveling towards the back of her head and into her hair. She closes her eyes with a smile. Her head leaned back into his gentle hold. Ahk playfully bites her bottom lip, then pulls both into another kiss. She teasingly bites his lip in return. His abdomen shuttered at the touch of her light finger tips tracing his skin. The pharaoh pulls back enough to glide his tongue over her lips, then back into a kiss again. Omorose moved to drag her lips down the side of his neck and along his shoulder. His hands went underneath the collar of her dress to feel more of her skin. Her body brushes against his bare chest, almost pressing on him before he starts laying down. Their hearts pounded like two synchronized drums as Ahk lay on top of Omorose.

After another moment or so they just stopped, and stared into each other's eyes. Sometimes Ahkmenrah would playfully nibble her ear which made her blush and laugh. She sighed softly with a smile,
"As much as I love this, I think I'm ready to find our friends again." She giggled when he kissed her rosey cheeks,
"I suppose I agree with you, my beautiful storm." The pharaoh rose to his feet and offered his hand. He helped her up only to see her blush turn a fiercer red. She was gazing at his chest, biting her lip before swiftly turning away. He chuckled with a glance to the ground. The Anubis headdress then caught his attention, so he picks it up and puts it on.
"How do I look?" He strikes a diva pose. When she saw him all she could do was laugh.
"My, what an elegant king you've become, your highness." She curtsies with an amused smile.
"Ah but I know one far more magnificent than myself." His eyebrows rose to match his dramatic voice.
"Really now?" Omorose humors him.
"Oh yes, for she has the heart of the purest gold, and eyes that rival the stars in the sky." Ahkmenrah walked closer to her as he spoke. Now the very tips of their noses touched.
"You are what any woman dreams of." She landed a peck on his nose. She watched him gently place the headdress upon her head again,
"And you are the woman of my dreams." Omorose then did the same with his crown and cape. Soon after, their fingers laced themselves together. They strolled out into the museum with smiling faces and blushing cheeks.

"Hey there you are. What happened to you two?" Asked Larry as they spotted the couple.
"Bet they were makin' out." Mumbled Jedidiah. Larry raised his eyebrows and pointed,
"I heard that."
"What it's true! One minute ol' Ahkmenrah there was kissin' her cheek all sweet-like, next minute they be out of sight! Put two and two together, boy!"
"I will not deny showing my tiger lily the affections she so richly deserves-"
"See!" Jed shouted and Omorose blushed again.
"But it seems we don't have much more moonlight to talk about this. Dawn is on its way." Ahk finished despite Jed's interjection.
"He is right, everyone. Off we go." Teddy smiled as he left with Sacagawea. They all followed suit. Abasi walked back to his place, getting a hug from his rider before she sealed his tomb. Ahk slid his hands over her waist from behind and held her close to his chest.
"Until next time, my dearest. I love you." She smiled, leaning back gently into him,
"I look forward to seeing you again. I love you too, my sweet pharaoh." She tilted her head back to kiss him, long and slow.

Once she laid peacefully in her sarcophagus, Jed suddenly started tapping Ahk's foot obnoxiously. He looked down to see the little cowboy firmly gesturing to follow him. Though he found his behavior off, he followed him anyway. He was confused as to why Jed was taking him away from Omorose, until it hit him in the face.
"When are you going to tell her that you don't actually live here no more?!" Jed sharply whispered. Ahkmenrah sighed to himself. He'd honestly hoped no one had noticed the fact he had yet to tell her, let alone that he knew where his parents were. He'd been so blinded, so caught up in being in love that that conversation kept being put off.
"I know I must tell her, I just haven't gotten to it quite yet." That was the best explanation he could come up with.
"Well you'd best be doin' it soon. You ain't gonna be here much longer to say it."
"I agree, my friend. It's...hard to say. I know not how to break it to her." His gaze drifted off as Jed sighed out of sympathy.
"I get it pal, I really do. But it's either that, or you break her heart the hard way." Ahk knew exactly what he meant. If he failed to tell Omorose until the day he was scheduled to go back to the British Museum, he could only imagine the shattered heart she'd endure.
