43. Family Day Out

Brandon 💜

We are going on our first family outing with Sarah to the park. We haven't been out on a proper day out since we became parents to her. We can't wait to take her out and have a fun couple of hours in the park. It's a nice spring day. We are getting ready to leave now. I have just given Sarah a feed and a change so we are all good to go. Me and Brandon have double checked to see if we've got everything we need in the changing bag. "So are ready, my girls" Brandon asks. "Yeah I think we are. Sarah is good to go" I reply. He takes the car seat and carries Sarah out to the car. She is awake atm. Shortly we arrive at the park and it looks to be kinda busy but we won't let that stop us having a fun family day out. Brandon lifts Sarah's car seat out of the car and we put her in the stroller. I grab the changing bag and we start walking around the park. Brandon pushes Sarah in her stroller as we walk around the park. I hold onto the side as we walk. "We will have many times like this, babe. Just think when Sarah is older. We'll be taking her here like everyday" Brandon says. "Yeah I know. I'm sure she'll love running around and playing" I reply. "Yes she will. I'll be running after her in no time" he said. We walk for a while till we get tired and wanted a rest so we got an ice cream each and sat on a bench. I had strawberry and Brandon got cookies and cream. "Ummm so good. Just what I need" I say. "It is but you got a bit there" Brandon said wiping ice cream from my nose. "Haha thanks" I laugh. So we had a great time in the park this afternoon with baby Sarah. We think she enjoyed it too

His POV

My mom has come over from Canada to see us for a few days and to spend some more time with baby Kamari too. She's only been over once and that was with my dad and siblings just after Kamari was born. She loves being a grandma to him. He's a grandmas boy just like I'm a mommas boy. My mom suggested us going out somewhere just the four of us today. "How about we all go out for dinner tonight? I've heard of a nice restaurant in the area. I'm treating you both" she said. "Yeah sure that sounds good, mom" I reply. "I'll make a reservation for around 6pm so it doesn't make it too late with Kamari. A few hours later we leave for the restaurant where we are going tonight.  My mom is really kind. Greatest woman on this earth. So we arrived at the restaurant and got a table. "Looks nice here" I say. "Yeah it does. Good choice, Mandy" Y/ N replies. So we looked at the menus to see what they have. Looks like they have good food. "It's so nice to be here with the three of you. I missed, y'all" mom said. "It's amazing to have you, mom. Kamari is so happy his grandma is here" I reply. "Oh he is" she said. So we order the food we want and tuck in when it comes and it was really good. A nice restaurant me and Y/ N will have to remember it for the future. Kamari was getting sleepy and needed a change and feed so we headed home after dinner and decided to have some cakes and hot drinks back at hone. Dinner was great tonight and I'm so happy my mom was here to treat us. She's the best

Edwin 🧡

We are going out for our first proper family day out with the girls. We are going to the mall for some shopping and something to eat later on. I love going to the mall and so does Edwin and we are sure the girls will when they are older. We are getting them ready to go out right now. They are almost all ready to go. When they are we get them into their car seats and in the car. Nia is awake and Nala is asleep right now. Soon we arrive at the mall and get them out of the car and into their stroller. "Now are you ready to go shopping, girls" Edwin said. "Yes i think they are. Even though they'll have no clue where we are going" I reply. "You gurus are gonna be shopaholics just like your momma" he said. I laugh. So we explore round the mall going to places we want to go to. The girls were just laying in their stroller. Edwin was pushing them. He looked in some places he wanted to look in but he mainly let me look. After a while we decided to stop for something to eat. "What do you fancy, babe?" Edwin asks. "Hmmm anything i don't really mind" I reply. After some debating we decided to go to Chick-fil-a. We get what we want and find a table. Both of the girls had just fallen asleep so we could eat in peace. "Are you enjoying yourself, babe?" Edwin asks. "Yes I am. It's great to do some shopping with my favourite people in the world" I reply. "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, baby. You deserve it after being so busy" he said. So after we've eaten we carry on doing a bit more shopping and had a great first family day out. Hopefully there will be many more

Nick ❤️

Me and Nick are at the beach with baby Drew. The beach is our absolute favourite place to go. We love it and it's not too hot today. Nick proposed to me on the beach so it's a special place for us to go with our son this time. We are keeping Drew under the shade. Some people probably think he's too young to take to the beach but we don't care. He's our baby. We are sat on the sand with a parasol over us all and Drew is laying on Nick's lap. "He looks so cute in his little beach outfit, babe" he said. "Yes he certainly does. He's so just adorable. Aren't you, Drewster?" I reply. Drew yawns and we both smile at him. "Hey, baby boy. You're tired" I say. "Yes he is" Nick said. We carry on hanging out on the beach with baby Drew in our arms. Later we go for a stroll on the beach. Nick carries Drew on his chest in his baby carrier. We haven't really used it before and we got it from our baby shower. About time we made use of it. We walk hand in hand as Nick is holding little Drew. He looks so adorable snuggling on his daddy's chest. We only stayed on the beach for a couple of hours as we didn't want to stay out for a long time with baby Drew as he's only young but we had a great time as a family on the beach today and we can't wait to take him again when he's older. I'm sure he'll love the beach just as much as his mommy and daddy one day. We love the beach and we are sure our little boy will

Austin 💚

Today we are going to do something different. We are going out. We are going to a cute little winter village near where we live. We heard about it and it's like a winter experience. You never get to really experience a proper winter here in California so it'll be nice. We get in the car and set off. The winter village isn't far away from our house. When we arrived we park up and get out of the car with Amelia. She's a bit sleepy now. She's getting better from not being well too. "Welcome to the winter wonderland, little girl" Austin said. I smile. So we walk around for a while and explore. It's a really pretty place and we are glad we discovered it. It feels just like a proper winter even though it's actually not. After about an hour or so we decided to go for a drink in a cute and cozy little cafe in the village. Austin and I get hot drinks and a sweet treat each. "I love this little village. It's so cute" Austin said. "Yeah it is. I love it too. I don't think Amelia really knows what to make of it" I reply. "Yeah we'll have to bring her back next year when she's a year old" Austin said. "Yep that will be great" I reply. So we finish our drinks and hangout in the cafe for a bit longer before walking back through the village and going back to the car. Me and Austin had a really nice family day out with Amelia today. We can't wait to come back here again. Maybe when she's a year old
