Brandon 💜

Tonight Brandon and I are going to our first prenatal class. Now that I'm about 6 months on in my life it's about time we went to prenatal classes and learnt a bit more before we become parents to our baby girl. We have a lot to learn. It's a 6 week course so I'm sure we'll learn a lot in that time. Brandon and I are a little nervous about going as we'll probably be the youngest couple there so we don't want people to judge us. Anyway we leave and arrive at the place the class is at soon. "Are you ready for this, babe?" Brandon asks. "Yes I think I am. Are you?" I reply. He smiles so we go in and take a seat with the other couples. Looks like we are the youngest so far. The lady who is running it walks in and introduces herself. Everyone goes around and introduces themselves. "I'm Y/ N and this is my boyfriend Brandon. I'm 20 and he's 19 and we are expecting a baby girl" I say. Brandon smiles and touches my hand. The lady goes through a few simple things about pregnancy and babies. We could ask any questions if we wanted. Brandon had a lot to ask and we could stay behind at the end if there was anything else we wanted to know. The first class was pretty much an introduction one and we will learn more in the coming weeks but it was good. We enjoyed it

Zion 💙

Recently in the last couple of weeks, Zion and I have joined prenatal classes. We are lucky that there is a few younger couples like us there. We thought we'd be the only ones but we're not which is good. We are making friends with other couples too. Zion and I are heading to another prenatal class tonight and we are looking forward to it. Tonight they are going through more about the labour and delivery and stuff like that. Should be good tonight. So we are on our way in the car to where the classes is held which is in a high school. "How are you feeling about the class tonight?" Zion asks. "Good. It will be good" I reply. So when we arrive we park up and walk in and take a seat with the other couples. We chat to them before the class starts. Jane, the midwife who runs the class walks in. "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Tonight we are going to learn more about labor and delivery" she said. The class begins and then Jane starts going through a few things. I am about 29 weeks on in my pregnancy. She explained a few things and we could ask any questions we wanted. "What if Y/ N goes into labor early? What do I do?" Zion asks. "Well you would time her contractions and if they are frequently take her to the hospital" Jane said. "Oh I thought so" he replies. "When is it best to get the hospital bag ready?" I ask. "I would say about a month before just in case the baby comes early" she replies. We asked some more questions and got the answers to everything we needed to know and it was good. Me and Zion are enjoying our pregnancy classes

Edwin 🧡

Edwin and I have our first prenatal class this evening. We applied a few weeks ago to go and we are starting it tonight which will be fun. It's a 4 week course on Thursday nights and we are looking forward to it. We are on our way now. "Do you think we'll be the only people there who are having twins?" Edwin said. "I don't know. Maybe or maybe not" I reply. Soon we arrive at the place and park up and walk in together. We were surprised to see a lot of couples there. Younger and older. A mix of ages. The class begins by a little introduction of everyone. Edwin and I introduce ourselves. "I'm Edwin and this is my girlfriend Y/ N and we are having twins girls and we can't wait to be parents" Edwin said. I smile at him. For the next part of the class we get handed a baby doll each and a blanket. The ladies who run the class demonstrate how to swaddle a baby. I think Edwin looked a little confused during the demonstration. "What we actually have to do this? What if the babies can't breathe" he said. "Yeah It's fine" I reply. So we practice swaddling the baby doll in a blanket. "Aye, it's like making a burrito" Edwin said. "Haha if you say so" I laugh. So we manned to do it even though Edwin was confused and struggled at first. I had to give him a hand. So that was pretty much our first prenatal class and next week we'll learn more. Yeah it was pretty good

Nick ❤️

Nick and I have been enjoying going to prenatal classes for the last few weeks. We have found it very beneficial and useful and we are enjoying attending classes. The people are really nice and we feel like we've made friends in them. This morning we are going to another prenatal class. Today they are teaching breathing techniques during labor that will be useful. Nick and I leave home about half an hour before as it takes nearly that long. We go to morning class on a Saturday morning as we are busy to go during the week. Anyway when we arrive we walk in and take a seat and wait for everyone else to arrive. We chat to some of the other couples will we are waiting for it to start. We introduced ourselves as there are a couple of new people there. The lady who runs the class tells us to grab an exercise ball. I sit on the ball and Nick sits behind me and holds me. We get instructed how to do the breathing exercises and do so. It helps when you're sat on an exercise ball. I found it very useful and calming and I will definitely use it when it comes to giving birth. It's kinda like meditation too. "That was good. I will definitely use that" I say. "It was and I will do it with you too" Nick replies. The class finishes up soon and Nick and I decided to go for dinner later. It was a good pregnancy class this morning

Austin 💚

Austin and I have been attending yoga based pregnancy classes. It's mainly involves about yoga but you also get to learn things about pregnancy, babies and labor and delivery too. It's really helpful and useful and we like going to them. We didn't go to classes when I was expecting Eva but we are now. Actually we are at one now. We are practicing calming and meditation techniques for labor and delivery but not only for that you can do it anytime too. In fact Austin and I have bought a yoga mat for home and we practice in our own time. I am leaned against a exercise mall and Austin is massaging my back and I'm practicing breathing techniques. "How are you feeling, babe?" he asks. "Good. Very good" I reply. "I'm revealing all the tension in your back" Austin said. "Yeah I know and it really helps. I love this" I reply. "Yeah it really does help" he said. We get shown some more exercises too after that. It really calms me down and helps me to breathe. Yoga is a really good thing to do even if you're pregnant or not. It's great. I will keep it up when I've had the baby too. Austin and I had another good class today

A/ N: almost at 1k yay!
