NARRATION 001 DONGYU UNIVERSITY LISA | SOCCER FIELD 6:01 AM
It was nice seeing the sun rises, like its a new beginning of life for everyone. Sunsets are my favorite, but sunrise, it feels much more like emotional aesthetic rather than aesthetic itself. Mas iba yung binibigay na feeling nito, mas may kirot sa puso everytime I see the sun rises. It has a special space in my heart.
I always want to witness a sun rise but sobrang late talaga ako magising palagi kaya I always end up witnessing the sun sets always. Medyo hindi ako nakatulog today kaya eto ako, sobrang swerte na mawitness ko how beautiful the sun rises.
"Is this a miracle?"
I glare at the person who blocks my view on the beautiful skies. Yung buhok niya ay halos makain ko na sa sobrang subsob niya para makita kung ako ba talaga 'tong nakikita niyang nakahiga dito ngayon sa soccer field.
"Ako lang 'to Rosé, huwag ka ng magulat." sabi ko sakanya at nanatiling nakahiga sa may damuhan dahil tinatamad pa talaga akong bumangon or ikilos itong katawan ko na 'to. I haven't sleep yet kaya medyo bangag at less functioning 'tong katawan ko ngayong umaga.
"Sino bang hindi magugulat ha? Ang aga mo masyado para malate, minsan nga second subject ka na pumapasok. May sakit ka ba?" Nag aalalang tanong niya sakin at ginaya rin ang posisyon ko. Itinabi niya yung mga gamit niyang dala at walang arte na tumabi sa akin. Buti na lang at nakapants kami pareho.
Palagi kasi akong late kapag pumapasok minsan hindi na ako pumapasok, madalas second subject na ako nagpapakita. Kaya hindi na ako magtataka kung magulat lahat ng kaklase ko na makita ako ng ganito kaaga dito sa school. Hindi naman ako tamad mag aral, tamad lang akong kumilos ng masyadong maaga.
"Wala akong sakit, hindi lang talaga ako nakatulog," sambit ko habang nakatingin sa kalangitan at dinadama ang simoy ng hangin ng umaga.
"It's either you're thinking of something or someone." she said while emphasizing her last words.
I know how her mind goes, she wants to know something.
"I am not thinking of something or someone, hindi lang talaga ako makatulog. That's it."
"Liar. You really dare to lie on my face huh? You can't lie on me, on your best friend. I know what's up to you." she insisted while facing me. Her eyes are like raging eyes of tigers, it looks scary kapag may isang bagay siyang pinaglalaban or iniinsist.
"Dahil ba 'to dun sa ex mo?"
Kahit di ko siya tignan ay nararamdaman ko yung mga titig niya sakin, at hinihintay niya ako na tumingin sakanya upang mabasa yung emotion na lalabas sa mukha ko. Masyado na kaming matagal magkakilala ni Rosé kaya alam ko kung ano yung mga bagay na kaya niyang gawin at kaya niyang sabihin. That's why I didn't looked at her and just closed my eyes and sighed heavily.
"I don't know what to feel, Chae. Okay na ako eh, tapos bigla siyang magpaparamdam sakin ng ganon, putangina lang." I sighed heavily again.
"I was so angry at him kasi puta bakit ngayon niya lang sinabi yung mga bagay na gusto ko marinig for this past 12 months?! I waited for him for those past months pero bakit ngayon lang? Bakit sobrang tagal naman putangina!"
"I know Li, you don't need to force yourself to be okay. Let yourself be hurt, angry and sad, and as the time goes by marerealize mo na lang na okay ka na at you've already move on from him." Rosé patted my hair softly as she plants a soft kiss on my head and hugs me from my side.
"Sometimes people really doesn't realize their mistakes until you point out what they did and shit." she said softly and gives me her warm smile.
"You'll be fine Li, maybe not now but soon."
Hindi na ako sumagot sa mga pinagsasabi niya at nanahimik na lang muna ako. I know, deep in my heart that Rosé always wants to protect me in every situation I'm in but sometimes she wants me learn from them kaya as much as she wants to help me, she just let me experience those things and learn from it so I can grow stronger and better. I am always thankful to have a best friend like Rosé, she's really a sweetheart.
"I know, thank you for always reminding me that Chae."
We were silent and just appreciates the skies and sun rise.
