(PETER POV)

Stuck in my head.

"Jesus Adaki," I said nervously, "what's going on?"

I looked outside the window of the plane, staring at the huge line of planes in front of us. As soon as I saw Beck last night, I called my friend and told her I was going back to New York. She convinced me I'd need her help sooner or later, so I brought her along.

"You aren't the only person traveling in Wakanda," she said, shoving her backpack under the seat, "we have hundreds of people flying in and transferring flights every day."

"Do you know how long it will take?"

"Probably and hour?"

"I don't have an hour!" I rambled, standing out of my seat and toppling over the people in our row, "I need to get home as fast as I can."

"Peter-"

"Get your stuff, I'm getting off the plane."

I snatched my suitcase from the compartment, and slid down the narrow aisle. I shoved a couple people off to the side, but ignored their angry curses. Adaki mumbled apologies for me as she passed by, and gave me an annoyed glare.

"What are you doing?!" She whispered, "Peter, get back on that plane."

"I can't wait for an hour," I explained, scanning the runway, "I don't have time."

"You've made that very clear, but why does it matter? That plane is the only international flight."

"No it isn't," I smirked, catching a glimpse of a quinjet, "Follow me."

I ran as fast as I could, my heels hitting the pavement with harsh force. The girl struggled to catch up to me, but I kept running. As I hurried up the steps to the jet, a pilot stopped me in my tracks.

"Only assigned crew members aboard this ship," he barked out, "please return to the terminal."

"I'm friends with Shuri," I stated, "I was instructed to fly this ship."

"I'm afraid the Princess has not informed me of this. I am not allowed to let you aboard unless-"

"Unam," Adaki cut in, pushing me aside, "Ndiyakwazi ukuqinisekisa imiyalelo kaShuri."

The pilot widened his eyes when he saw her, before placing a fist over his heart and bowing.

"ndicela uxolo marquess adaki," he said, "yiya phambili"

"Enkosi," Adaki said, before letting the pilot exit the jet.

"What the heck?" I stuttered, not understanding anything they said, "what did you say?"

"Don't worry about it," she said, "do you know how to fly a plane?"

*****

"She must be important to you," Adaki said, disrupting the silence that had filled the quinjet, "if you were willing to get arrested for stealing a plane."

We had been flying for two hours, almost at our destination. I, of course, did not know how to fly a plane, but thankfully she did. I don't know why I thought my sudden plan would work, but it did thanks to her.

"Yeah," I said softly, "she is."

"So why did you guys break it off?" she asked, "I mean, it's clearly had an effect on you."

"I don't really want to talk about it.. Sorry."

"Valid. We're landing in 10 minutes."

"Great. I gotta call Happy, tell him to open up the landing bay."

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket, and tapped in the man's number. I held it up to my ear and waited for him to pick up.

"Hello?"

"Hey! Um- Hap,what's up?"

"Peter? I heard what happened."

"Look, Happy, I don't want to get into it."

"Right. What do you need, Pete?"

"I need you to open up the helideck. My friend and I are almost to the tower."

"Uh- you're coming back?"

"Yeah, to see Y/N. why?"

"Kid-" He started, before cutting himself off, "never mind. I'll open the deck."

"Hap-"

"I'll see you in 10. Bye Peter."

He clicked off the phone faster than I could open my mouth. I raised an eyebrow, but something inside my stomach churned uneasily. I knew something was wrong, but I didn't know what it was.

I hoped Y/N was safe.

"Did you talk to her?" Adaki asked.

"No, I was talking to my step-dad."

"I'm sure she'll be happy to see you, don't worry about it Peter."

"Yeah.." I mumbled, "I won't."
