Taking action

You sat in your bed waiting to start the plan you had made at dinner earlier. The plan was simple, you would wait until Megan the warden would come and do her rounds. Once she was doing her rounds, you would pretend to be having stomach pains, thus she would open up the cell and check on You.
Then you would lunge at her and stab her to death, you would grab the keys and set everybody free.

"Lights out!" Megan said aloud walking, holding her beating stick. You listened to the sound of her heels "clip...clop...clip...clop" You sat on your bed, playing with your harmony ball, you were getting antsy.
Soon it was time, You got into position and let out a loud moan, "ugh...Can you please just shut her up?? She's so annoying!" Grace snapped covering her ears, Megan hit her beating stick against her bars, "You know the rules...no talking" she said sternly before she walked over to You.

You held the knife in your hand tightly, as you hid it. 'This is actually happening!' You thought nervously,
"What is it this time Vince?" Megan asked un-locking your cell. You let out a groan "S-something's not right! M-me stomach hurts! Aaaaaahhhhhh!!!" You whined holding your stomach as you rolled around in "pain".
Megan walked in mumbling "You better not be over reacting!" She said.
You got up once she was a foot away from you. You raised your prison knife up and brought it down to her chest, then her stomach and her chest again, you stabbed her repeatedly until she dropped dead.

You kneeled down to grab the keys, you felt no remorse; looking into her lifeless eyes, you shook your head and walked out of the cell.

As you walked over to Sally's cell you stopped and glanced back at the lifeless body, 'she has kids...that she's never going to see again...' you shrugged and ran over to let all of your friends out.
"Here these are for you guys" Grace said handing each of you a pistol. You nodded "Great, now we just gotta get out of here!" Telus said, as you were about to start walking to the courtyard you heard a slight groan which made you all pause to look back.
You heard the sound of Megan's high heels faintly as she limped her way out of your cell. "What the fuck?- I killed her!" You stammered. Grace rolled her eyes "Have you had no experience? Here let me show you how it's done..." she said pointing her pistol at Megan, As the bullet flew in the air, you watched in silence as the bullet filled Megan's chest, a slight moan came from her lips. Grace rolled her eyes and shot again and again, soon Megan was screaming, stumbling towards your group. You all joined in and helped her kill Megan again, after a couple of more shots, she fell down; lifeless "That was really odd- wait something doesn't feel right!" You said looking around, as the  once clean prison block turned into a messy, bloody, firey hall of death.
Sally looked at you "You don't say Vince..." You all looked around until screams filled your ears.

"What the fuck is going on!??!!" Telus questioned pointing her pistol at a zombified inmate, "guys! Run!!!" You yelled, as you all took off running you kept looking back to shoot at the running zombies, "hurry through this door!" You pointed to the courtyard entrance, as they ran past you, you heard another scream; but you didn't have time to help others, you shut the door and ran to the wooden canoe, "okay, okay, so...we gotta get this thing into the water and tie it to the dock" you instructed. Grace crossed her arms "and then what? We go back inside and get killed?" She asked
You nodded "we still have to get the other parts for the boat!" You added.

Sally nodded "Come on! Quickly everybody, we gotta do this as fast as we can" she ordered. As everyone lifted the boat into the water you couldn't help but think of Al 'I wonder if he's okay' you thought blushing a bit
