<One month later>

I was out with Sherry (check chapter 6 if you don't remember). Yea I started talking back to her , I wanted some stress reliever and some good brain and she was good at that stuff. We walked into Walmart and I heard a familiar voice talking.

"Stop tryna give my baby some bitchy ass names" I heard Paigdre saying to someone chuckling

I told sherry to continue do the shopping, then I walked over to where I heard Paigdre's voice. I haven't seen or spoken to her from the time she told me that she ain't want nothing to do with me and that she doesn't want me apart of my baby life.
I walked up behind her and she was going back and fourth with the person on the phone. Her ass looked even bigger and she had a hair redo. Y'all must be wondering how I'm so sure it's her. Well her anklet , I gave her an anklet with Jp on it. It actually stands for Jeremiah Prince but she saw it on my dresser and was drooling over it saying 'oh my god Jeremiah and Paigdre forever' so I just went with the flow.
I walked around her and she was dressed in Walmart attired uniform like she started working. She stopped talking and looked at me.

"You really need to stop stalking me" she said about to walked past me

My eyes just drooled over her body. She was glowing and she looked different I just wanted to rub her tummy even though it hasn't start showing yet.

"You working?" I asked sternly

"Yes why you bothered?" She asked with attitude

I clenched my jaw "You fucking working when you know yo pregnant with my child" I said through gritted teeth

"Wrong , this is my child and I'll do whatever I want you ain't the boss of me" she told me

I grabbed her wrist "I know damn well you didn't make this baby on your own and I'll make damn sure that my baby grew up with a father whether you like it or not" I said

I saw sherry walking up to me.

"Babe who's this?" She asked

"Shut the fuck up" I told her not giving a damn about how she felt at this very moment.

She did as told and carried on. I turned my attention back to Paigdre.

"Wow a whole new in a month , she can have your baby and you can don't anything you like , just not with me and my baby" Paigdre said about to walk away

I grabbed her arm and crashed my lips into hers. She was kissing me passionately and soft. My hands slowly went down her ass as she pulled back and hit me.

"Don't you fucking do that again!" She yelled but only so I can hear it

She grabbed two packs of curtains and about to walk off. Until she stopped and bended in pain I rushed over to her. And helped her she tried to push me away but I fought until she gave in. I took her to a seat noticing her skin colour became paler and she was getting weaker and weaker.

"Have you taken your vitamins today?" I asked her

"No I ran out I was gon get some after work today" she said aching in pain

"Come on" I said as I took her up in bridal style taking her to my car

I unlocked the passenger side and put her in I strapped her in then went around the drivers side. I sped off straight to the hospital. When I reached the hospital I took her up and brought her down to the emergency section, they assist her immediately.  As long as you got insurance there's nothing to worry about.

I sat in the waiting room as I remembered about sherry. I decided to call her , after 2 rings she pick up

'Where are you, I've been searching every where for you' she said

'I had to take care of sumo. Just call a uber and go back to your place I'll see you tomorrow or when I'm free' I told her

'Okay babe I love-' I cut her off

I waited for another 30 minutes until the doctor came out.

"Members for Paigdre Gayle?" He said

I stood to my feet immediately "I'm the baby's father or soon to be father" I said

"Okay come this way" he said

I followed and went back into the room where Paigdre was.

"What caused the pain?" I asked

"Well she's working too much and she ain't eating right. It was also caused off stress if she hadn't made it in time she could have lost the baby" with that being said I couldn't get anymore madder

"Okay thank you , can I have a minute with her?" I asked the doctor

"Sure" he said as he left the room

Paigdre was looking the other way as tears ran down her cheek. I knew she heard everything and that it was all her fault.

"Uh ha you aren't allowed to cry you almost killed my baby my first fucking child" I told her sternly

She didn't answer

"You know what this mean imma have to take matters in my own hands , you won't work from now on , I'm the man I fend for my child and as for school you'll be graduating in two weeks so you'll take online practices and last but not least you'll be staying with me whether you like it or not" I told her

She looked at me "I will take care of myself but I'm not going to live with a murderer" she whispered

I clenched my jaw "you ain't know the whole story yet still you so judgemental and as I said you'll be staying with me"

"I will not" she took out her phone

"What you doing ?" I asked her

"Calling my brother to come and get me" she said as she put the phone to her ear

I grabbed it and ended the call.
"Now don't make me get more upset than I already am" I told her

She sucked her teeth and turned her head the other way. I went out to speak with the doctors and collected her medications. I discharged her and brought her back to my place of course she didn't say a word to me. I told her to go freshen up and changed , she had clothes leftover from her last visit she just needed extra. As she went in the shower I drove off and went to her house. It's time I pay Xavier a little visit.

Tryna keep my own flesh and blood away from me. That baby was made with my seed , fuck he think he is to be making decisions like that.
