Paigdre
This is the fourth time that I had to pull over. I've been vomiting a lot lately so I took a test and it came back positive. I went to give Jeremiah the good news. But memories came back and he is my best friend killer. How could I be so stupid.
I got back in the car and drove home. When I reached in the driveway I got out and went in.
"You knew!" I yelled attacking my brother
"Whoa calm the fuck down sis" Xavier said startled
"You knew he was prince and you knew how bad I wanted to find Shantel killer how could you do me like that!" I yelled as my eyes got watery
"Took you a month to find out?" He asked with a slight chuckle I knew he was making fun of me.
"What you mean about-" I stopped and rushed to the bathroom
I came back out wiping my mouth with a piece of napkin.
"Are you pregnant?" My brother asked "Better make sure that your still a virgin" he added
I hadn't told Xavier about how intimate Jeremiah and I got over the past month. Neither the less I didn't think it was necessary for me to share personal things like that with him.
"Yes I'm pregnant but only two weeks" I told him as I took a seat
"Your what ? You have to do something about it , your still in high school and I can't feed heads of four" he said
"What do you mean by that? I'm not terminating this pregnancy if that's what you are trying to say. I'll take online classes and look a job until I've reached in my third trimesters" I told him
"Paigdre I will not let you keep this child under my roof" he said
"Fine I'll just leave"
"You'll not step a front out of here, I'm bringing you to doctor Dennis tomorrow myself and you have to promise you'll have nothing to do with that man prince again" he said
"I promise, thank you" I said walking over to him then gave him a hug
We were having a brotherly and sisterly moment until.
"Bitch you preggers and you never said anything to me oouu my lord Jeremiah must be so happy he'll be a great dad and y'all love each other so much , I was eavesdropping and I was waiting for y'all to done this sappy ass moment oh and bitch I can't believe you was gon move out" Jasmine said walking over to us
I almost started crying. Jasmine and Jeremiah became close since we started dating and they'll always talk about me.
"I'm sorry I was gon tell you but I wanted to tell jere first. I wasn't gon move out we were just heated at the moment" I told her as she hugged me
"Come on let's go talk about what we gon name it" she said as we walked to go upstairs
'Don't mention nothing about prince' I mouthed to Xavier and he nodded in agreement.
"Who's baby yo calling a it?" I asked Jasmine
"Sorry I'm just so excited I'm going to be an aunt" she squealed
"Uh ha your going to be the baby cousin not aunt" I said adding emphasis on aunt
"What ever , so what did Jeremiah say when you tell him?" She asked as we sat in Indian style
"He was intrigued" I told her dryly to the fact that he doesn't know
"That's it?" She asked as her excitement faded
"Yes he was busy so we hadn't have the time of day to talk about farther plans" I said
"Oh whatever just let me know what he says. Any who lets find some names in the meanwhile"
I nodded as she came up with some bomb ass names and some quirky one also.
"How about Zachariah or Maleficent?" She asked
"What Zachariah is known as the dumpling head and You wanna name my baby after Maleficent who is the evil stepmother of sleeping beauty?" I asked
She started laughing "you got jokes I was just messing withcha ..... you know we gon name the baby Jerusalem" she joked
I looked at her and started laughing then I smacked her softly "Really? After a city where Jesus came from , that's a good thing but to hear me calling Jerusalem all god day and night is like I'm singing the song Jerusalem and like I'm Holy bitch I'm not a fucking saint I won't do that to my child" I told her
"Unholiness, the devil is within you" she said clapping as she stood to her feet.
"Shut up , I'm-" I got cut off by my phone ringing
I checked the caller ID and it was Jeremiah. I rolled my eyes but as I was about to put it down Jasmine grabbed it.
"Hey brother congratulations" Jasmine squealed then put the phone on speaker
"Congratulations for what?" Jeremiah asked befuddled
"The baby dump ass ugh I hate how y'all tryna keep this from me" Jasmine said
I heard him choked on something "Uh nah we was gon tell you together.... is Paigdre there?" He asked
"Yupp" Jasmine said handing me the phone
I took it off speakers and walked into the bathroom
"Why you calling me?" I asked bluntly as I closed the doors fully
"You pregnant and you didn't say nothing?" He asked sternly
"I came to tell you but my memories came back and i remember your name" I said to him
"That shouldn't stop you from telling a nigga that he gon be a father soon"
"You won't because I'm getting an abortion done tomorrow"
"You what? I swear if you kill my unborn child I'll make you regret it every single day of your life" he threatened
"I'm still in high school how am I gon take care of a child when I'm a child myself?" I asked
"You got me to help with that and that ain't nothing for you to worry about"
"No we are done Jeremiah. If I'm having this baby I don't want you near us. I don't want anything to do with you"
"Come on ma you can't do that" he said
"I will" and with that being said I hang up.
I went back in the room and heard Jasmine snoring. I went over her and started recording and taking pictures. I set the recording as her ringtone then I went downstairs to get something to eat.
To hell with jere if he thinks imma just forget about this so easily. Shantel was my best friend and he killed her so I hate him!
