The girls are all asleep in Caroline's bed when Elena's phone goes off making them all groan in annoyance
Caroline: "Go away." she says pushing Elena out the bed Elena: "Mm. Hello?" she says answering the phone making the three groan again Bonnie: "Unh." Caroline: "Elena." Jaylan: "Shh." she says as Elena goes out of the room to talk and the others go back to sleep
Damon
Andie: "I'm late" she says coming from out of the living room fixing the bandage on her neck and checking her reflection in the mirror "This is such a crazy day. I'm, uh, covering the Historical Society's high tea." Damon: "Woo-hoo! Thrilling." he says swinging her scarf around Andie: "Yeah, it's for some visiting writer. He's writing a book on small-town Virginia. It's a big snooze, heh." she says grabbing his arm as they walk to the door Damon: "Writer? What's his name?" Andie: "Mm-hm. Uh, Elijah Smith." Damon: "Smith. He's using Smith?" Andie: "Mm-hm." Damon: "Heh. Okay. You have your story straight in your mind, right?" he asks putting her scarf on Andie: "I can't say that you bit me or drank my blood just that we hit it off as friends and that you're great company. You are terrific, though. You're sweet, funny, you're honest." Damon: "And you need someone to lay all your crap on." he says compelling her Andie: "You're a great listener." Damon: "Perfect. Have a great day." he says opening the door for her as Alaric walks up Andie: "Oh, hey, Alaric, heh. Later." she says walking away Damon: "My new friend. Andie Starr, Action News." Alaric: "It's not called Action News." Damon: "Yeah, I know. I just like saying it. Come on. So John Gilbert gave me this to kill Elijah. Said you have to dip the dagger in the remains of an ash tree that dates back to the Originals. If there's any truth in that." he says handing him the knife Alaric: "You think it's a set-up?" Damon: "Could be. Guy's a weasel. Wouldn't put anything past him. What are you up to today Mr. Saltzman?" Alaric: "Jenna and I are supposed to go to her lake house but somehow we both got roped into doing this Historical Society thing at the Lockwoods'." Damon: "Where Elijah's the guest of honor." Alaric: "Tell me you're not gonna kill him at the party." Damon: "No, heh, that would be stupid" he says as Alaric gives him a disbelieving look "I wanna know his endgame before I kill him. But I do think it's time Elijah and I officially met."

Caroline: "Okay, so tell me about this big witchy plan you've been cooking up." she says as her, Bonnie, and Jaylan sit in the grill Bonnie: "We don't know the extent of what Elijah's up to." Jaylan: "No, we don't." Bonnie: "So I'm gonna, I ask Luka to tell me what he knows." Caroline: "He's not gonna tell you anything." Bonnie: "I didn't say he was gonna have a choice." Jaylan: "Ooh fun" she says smirking at her "Too bad I won't be there." Bonnie: "Why is it that you always end up getting dragged into Lockwood events?" Jaylan: "I have no idea." she says shrugging as Matt walks by and they see him avoid Caroline Bonnie: "What's that about?" Caroline: "I don't know. I thought that we were-I don't know." she says sighing and after sitting with them for a while Jaylan gets up to leave and runs into Tyler at the door Jaylan: "Hi." she says awkwardly Tyler: "Hey." he says brushing past her making her sigh out and walk out to her car
