Stefan: "Hey. How you feeling?" He asks Jaylan coming into his room after she changes putting a glass on top of his dresser away from her Jaylan: "My head hurts." She says in pain grabbing it Stefan: "What's the last thing you remember?" Jaylan: "I was at the school's party on the phone when Vicki attacked me" She says trying to remember "What was she? And why did you make me drink your blood?" She asks scooting away from him Stefan: "There's no easy way to break this so.." he says trailing off "Were vampires." Jaylan: "Vampires?" She asks in disbelief Stefan: "Yeah." He says making his face change and she gasps Jaylan: "Woah." Stefan: "Vicki was newly transitioned so she couldn't control her urges. That's why she attacked you." He says as she gives a breathy laugh making him look at her weird Jaylan: "Sorry. I believe you. It's just, one of my friends think she's a witch and now your a vampire." She says motioning to him pulling her hair out her face Stefan: "She actually is a witch." He says making her mouth drop Jaylan: "Really?" Stefan: "Yeah" He says and she answers with a breathy wow while looking down Jaylan: "Can you turn that off please?" She asks pointing to the light next to her "The noise is bugging me." She says holding her head and Stefan nods turning it off Stefan: "Jaylan there's something we need to talk about." He says making her look up Jaylan: "What?" Stefan: "Vicki attacked you and then I gave you my blood" He says as she nods her head "But then she came back and snapped your neck." Jaylan: "But wouldn't I be dead then?" Stefan: "To turn into a vampire you have to have vampire blood in your system and then die." He says slowly allowing her to catch on Jaylan: "So your saying I'm a vampire?" Stefan: "Not yet. To complete the transition you have to drink human blood." Jaylan: "And if I don't? What happens if I don't drink blood?" She asks making him look at her sadly Stefan: "You die" He says as she starts to hyperventilate "Hey it's okay. Look we will figure it out." He says moving over and hugging her Jaylan: "I'll never see Brielle again?" She cries out Stefan: "You will. If you drink you'll have to learn control but you will not be alone. I'll be there with you every step of the way. Okay. I promise you won't turn out like Vicki." Jaylan: "What happened to Vicki?" She asks pulling away from him Stefan: "She died" he said after a moment of hesitation "I had to kill her" he says as she starts panicking "But that won't happen to you. I will make sure of it." Jaylan: "I'll see Brielle again right?" Stefan: "Eventually. First you have to learn how to control your hunger. It'll be hard but..you will see her again" He says as she nods her head and he grabs the glass from the dresser and brings it over to her "It's your choice." He says as she bites her lip before slowly taking the cup and she looks down at it for a moment before gulping and then downing the cup. Stefan then leaves her in his room to get some sleep
Stefan Stefan: "Damon? Lexi?" He asks looking around the house before a figure knocks him down then on his back Lexi: "Hi." Stefan: "What are you doing here?" Lexi: "How could you even ask that?" She says pulling him up and hugging him Stefan: "I missed you." Lexi: "Happy birthday." She says pulling away from him Lexi: "Stop. I don't know, okay? If some freak shot at me with wooden bullets, I'd bail in under 60. And why is a news reporter hunting vampires?" She says when they go upstairs into one of the spare rooms Stefan: "I don't know. I don't know who knows about us. That guy did. There could be others. Hey, do me a favor? While you're here, please be careful." Lexi: "Ugh! Why stay? I'm headed to New York for the weekend. Bon Jovi, in The Garden. "Wanted Dead or Alive." It's our theme song. It'll be a blast." Stefan: "Hey, do you think that he would actually remember us? That was a pretty crazy weekend, huh?" Lexi: "We can make him remember us. Come on. Let's go. I mean, what's keeping you here?" Stefan: "I told you. Her name is Elena." Lexi: "Well, let's hope she's better than the last girl you got all sprung over." Stefan: "You didn't even know Katherine." Lexi: "Because if I did I'd kick her ass, the little bitch." Stefan: "Besides I told you that I made a promise." Lexi: "Oh yeah to the newbie vamp" she says motioning out the door "How's she handling it all?" Stefan: "Well she was just told the news that she's now a vampire a couple of hours ago so I figure a break down is coming pretty soon." Lexi: Speaking of little bitch, where's Damon?" Stefan: "Inflicting misery somewhere." Lexi: "Uh-huh." Stefan: "Hey, you gonna be okay here? I got some things I gotta take care of." Lexi: "Well, it's not exactly like I can go anywhere. And you and Damon are the only ones with these nifty little daylight rings. I have a mood ring from '75. Trade you?" Stefan: "Doesn't work that way and you know it. Do you mind keeping an eye on Jaylan just until I get back? Don't want her wandering around in the sunlight." Lexi: "Yeah. No problem." She says as he goes towards the door Stefan: "Hey, Lex. I'm really glad that you came here." Lexi: "What are we doing for your birthday? It's not every day a guy turns 162 years old." Stefan: "Really?" Lexi: "Oh, yeah."
