Description

Katia Hannigan is your typical seventeen year old girl only she's got a past, she has experienced things that no one should have to go through; she has secrets. Her life in Sydney was anything but perfect but she had people she loved there, so when her mother sends her to live with her father in Florida; she doesn't take it well. Katia hasn't spoken to her father in years and it's hard for her to be around him, hard for her to be in Florida in general; that is until the next door neighbour sees her half naked through her bedroom window.

Eighteen year old Jaxon Heart, captain of the football team and one of the most popular boy's in school; who also happens to be the boy nextdoor. He takes an instant liking to Katia, he sees right through her facade; wanting to know who she really is. Jaxon is determined to get past her defences through to the true Katia. 

The closer Katia gets to Jaxon and her new friends the further she feels from her old life, but is that a good or bad thing? Will it help her move on from the bad memories of her past or will she pull away from them all and continue tearing herself down thinking she deserves it for what happened in her past?
