'No. No way I'm doing that!' Breng ik uit. 'Why not? Are you scared?' Plaagt Millie me. 'Yes, I actually am. I mean, it's weird! Please give me another dare.' Sadie zucht. 'That's against the rules, come on Laur. But you can just say that you got the wrong contact right?' Daar had ik nog helemaal niet aan gedacht. Ik kijk Sadie dankbaar aan. 'Ugh I love you girls but Sades you totally just ruined my matchmaking masterplan.' Millie laat zich achterover op het bed vallen. Lachend scroll ik door mijn contacten en klik ik op bellen. Hij hoort m niet! Great! Opgelucht klik op mijn telefoon uit. Millie zucht en Sadie lacht zachtjes. 'You may laugh now but if this is the reason we're not having a wedding and children of them I blame YOU Sadie Sink!' Ik moet lachen. 'Mills don't say that! It's awkward! Besides,' ik sla mijn armen om ze heen, 'who needs a man when I have two amazing girls right here!' 'Laura stop it or I'll cry! But I love you guys, like so much.' Sadie lijkt ons lachend aan. 'Best friends forever?' (Cringe sorry haha) vraagt Millie. 'Best friends forever.' Zeg ik en Sadie volgt. Die avond vallen we met zijn drieën naast elkaar in slaap.

De volgende morgen wordt ik wakker met een strook rood haar op mijn gezicht. Ik schrik op en stap uit bed. 'Girls! It's already 10AM! Hurry hurry!' Mopperend opent Millie haar ogen. 'So?' 'I'm coming.' Sadie staat op en trekt Millie mee. 'Mills, we'll get some coffee.' Zegt ze met een knipoog. Millie's open vliegen open en ze staat meteen op. 'Coffee sounds.... fantastic.' Waarom doen ze zo gek? 'Hmm. Let's get dressed.' Ik loop naar mijn tas.

Millie's POV:

We had a plan, Sadie and I. We were going to get coffee, at Starbucks. On our way to Starbucks, I suddenly have to pee, and can't hold it. When I'll go there, Sadie will remind that I was on my period, and I asked her to bring pads for her. She'll say she totally forgot and asks Laura to already order the coffee because it'll probably be busy and will then follow me to the toilet. In the meantime me and Sadie already texted Finn with the question if he please can meet us two at Starbucks around 11. He'll agree and be there. Laura goes there and we are secretly following her. Once she arrives she'll spot Finn and they'll talk. It is totally a great plan! We just texted Finn and he agreed. Yay!

Laura's POV:

Millie en Sadie wilden graag koffie bij Starbucks halen. Dat vind ik prima, want ik had ook wel zin in koffie. Dus, hier zijn we nu, onderweg. We zijn gezellig aan het kletsen tot Millie iets zegt. 'Omg, I'm so sorry but I really have to pee. Be right back.' Sadie glimlacht heel kort en loopt dan weer verder. Weird. Nou ja. En paar minuten later stopt Sadie opeens met lopen. 'Omg, I totally forgot.' 'What?' Vraag ik. 'Millie. She's on her period and she asked me to carry her pads in my bag. I still have them. You know what, I'll go after her, why don't you already go because it might be really busy.' Ik knik en loop door. Mis ik iets vandaag? Wat is er toch aan de hand? Als ik bij Starbucks aan kom loop ik zonder te kijken naar de balie om mijn bestelling te doen. Het is helemaal niet zo druk, er zitten amper mensen. Terwijl ik op mijn koffie wacht kijk ik om mee heen en tot mijn grootste verbazing zie ik Finn zitten. Hij heeft dan wel een pet en zonnebril op, waarschijnlijk om niet herkend te worden, maar je kan goed zien dat hij het is. Als ik mijn koffie heb loop ik naar hem toe. 'Hi.' Zeg ik maar. Hij kijkt op. 'Laura? Hey. But what are you doing here?' Vraagt hij. 'I figure I can ask you the exact same question.' (Als je dit herkent ben je een held) lachend schuift hij de stoel naast zich naar achter en gebaart me om te zitten. 'You know that show? I thought only old people watched it.' Ik moet ook lachen. 'Well, apparently you did too. So, I guess that's a no.' 'Touché.' Hij doet de zonnebril af. 'Are you meeting Sadie and Millie too?' Ik kijk hem verbaasd aan. 'What do you mean?' 'I got this text one hour ago, if I wanted to meet them here because they had an emergency.' Ik laat mijn hoofd op mijn armen vallen, die op tafel liggen. 'You have got to be kidding me.' Breng ik murmelend uit. 'You see, we we're having a sleepover, girls night, and well we were messing around an then they both we're kidding for a few days now like 'ooh Laura you two would totally be so cute' or 'he is so in love with you.' I mean, that is totally weird and I know it's not true but I think they set this up and think something will happen and then they wi-' lachend onderbreekt hij me. 'Laura, easy. And they are not wrong, well, at least about one thing.' Hij legt zijn hand boven op de mijne. Ik kijk verbaasd van onze handen naar zijn gezicht. Wat bedoeld hij nou? Hij vindt me toch niet leuk? Dat kan toch niet? 'Wait whaa?' Is het enige wat ik eruit krijg. 'If it wasn't obvious by now; I like you, Laura. A lot.' Vol verbazing kijk ik hem aan. 'Look, I know that you probably-' ik onderbreek hem door snel mijn lippen tegen de zijne druk. Eerst is hij verbaast maar dan ontspannen we allebei. 'Hashtag couplegoals.' Hoor ik achter me. Als ik me omdraai zie ik Millie en Sadie grijnzend in de deuropening staan. 'Jeez, you guys sure know how to kiss.' Millie loopt nog steeds grijnzend naar ons toe. 'How long again? Ten minutes? Your coffee is cold Laura.' Ik word rood. 'Aawh stop it Mills, you are making them blush.' Sadie kijkt ons glimlachend aan.
