All five boys gathered around their dinner table, looking down at it in pure disgust. Since they weren't given the luxury of anything besides a stove and a few pots and pans, they were left to go find the ingredients necessary themselves.

Luckily enough, their professor had provided them with an emergency bag that included a first aid kit, a few ready made meals, and some boxed milk just in case. Unfortunately, none of these items contained what they were used to eating.

"Beans." Yifan says as he picks up the can, "-and more beans." He continued and picked up another can of beans from the table. Flabbergasted, all of them nod in unison, watching as Yifan starts to open up the can.

Namjoon clings onto Seokjin's side, his face digging into the older man's shirt because the smell was so pungent. Yifan held his breath and continued to open it up while Yoongi ran to the beds and covered himself in the blankets.

Jimin merely walked over to the kitchen to grab a pot and brought it back over to the dinner table so Yifan could dump the brown mush into it.

"We can't eat this everyday," Yifan mumbled, spooning out the smelly beans, from the two cans he managed to open without passing out, "I think we should consider tending to the farm one of these days." He suggests and Namjoon faces Yifan to nod.

"That's a good idea," He agrees, "-but it's late right now and you've already opened up the cans." Namjoon points out, "We shouldn't waste the little that we actually have."

When Yifan looked down at the table, he noticed that the pot of beans were already missing. He immediately looked over to the kitchen and saw that Jimin was cooking the meal.

"Hey! Do you know what you're doing?" He yells at the inexperienced model [Yifan thinks that about Jimin because he himself has modeled for Vogue in China]. Jimin only looks over his shoulder as he continued stirring with one hand and gives Yifan a thumbs up with the other.

"We lived off this stuff," Seokjin said as he kept his arms around Namjoon's shoulder, but looking down at the empty cans in front of him, suddenly reminding him of all the things they'd done for their careers, "It was affordable and it helped us maintain our figures well. He's an expert at this, trust him."

Yifan looks wary at first, but he agrees and lets it go, deciding to let Jimin do his own thing as he made his way over to Yoongi who was still wrapped in his blankets.

Yifan patted Yoongi's back reassuringly, smiling to himself when his smaller friend whines, "Shortcake, it'll all be over soon enough." Yoongi keeps himself bundled in the blankets tightly, everything except for his face swallowed by the soft yet scratchy material.

Sure, Yoongi wanted this to be over, but the project gave him more time with Jimin then he'd ever had or will have. For some reason, the thought of this all ending saddened him, never did he think he wanted to know one person so badly, or be around them like this.

Jimin was just so friendly, caring, knowledgeable [in some aspects], strong, and not to mention that the guy was total eye candy. He's the total package and he was right here with him.

Only Yoongi was too shy and Jimin wasn't exactly showing signs of being even slightly interested in him. He'd save himself from the humiliation for another time.

"Can't wait." Yoongi spoke quietly as he looked up to Yifan with a toothy smile, and a rosy pink blush on his cheeks. Yifan blushed in return, quickly moving his head to the side to hide it from Yoongi, but when he did, he smelt something good wafting around.

He followed the smell right to the kitchen, startled to find that it was coming from Jimin's meal. How did he manage to turn something so horrid into something that seemed more edible than before? Yifan didn't want to admit it, but Jimin actually knew what he was doing.

After the aroma of Jimin's food started filling the air, everyone started making their way to the kitchen. Impressed that they were going to eat something way different than what they started with.

"Dang, Jimin hyung." Namjoon drawled but obviously still impressed by the way his eyes seemed to sparkle. "It smells so good!" His mouth was nearly watering.

Yoongi grabbed Namjoon's hands excitedly as they faced each other, agreeing. "Jimin hyung is so cool! He's a chef!"

Jimin smiles to himself, still stirring the food. "Hey!" Seokjin says a little loudly, stopping Yoongi and Namjoon from bouncing around, "I taught him that recipe!" All the attention Jimin was getting from Namjoon made him a little jealous. Just wanting some kind of appreciation.

When no one said anything, Namjoon smiled widely, grabbing Yoongi's hand and jumping up and down excitedly, "Wow! Jin hyung is so cool! He's a chef too!"

Yoongi tilted his head a bit in confusion, but when he saw the way Seokjin looked and Namjoon muttering at him to do what they were doing for Jimin, he understood.

Seokjin never seemed happier.

Day 4

Unable to tend to the farm, we broke into the emergency kit and ate the food provided to us.

Park Jimin made our meal. He's not nearly as bad as I thought he'd be. He deserves a lot more credit than I've given him.
