Jimin walked into the class the next day with the full intent to sit next to Yoongi.

Something about the younger boy intrigued him to want to sit in the back of the class again, which was highly unusual for the boy who always opts for the front of the classroom.

What he didn't expect was the seat next to Yoongi already taken by someone else. He let out a small unsatisfied grunt and sat next to Jin instead.

He kicks his legs up on the table crossed and his arms folded across his chest to look a little bit intimidating as he stared in the general direction of Yoongi and whoever the guy sitting next to him was.

Admittedly, he had no idea why he was feeling this way. He just felt a certain way with the younger boy and he had absolutely no reason why.

Jimin was so caught up in that, he failed to hear Jin calling for him.

"Huh? What?" Jimin asks and Jin rolls his eyes in return.

"Why are you staring at the new guy so much?" He asks and Jimin shrugs nonchalantly.

"I'm trying to figure him out." He tells, "I don't like him."

"Why though? Yifan's actually really nice, considering who he is." Jin shrugs too and he goes back to doodling in his class notebook.

"You know him?" Jimin asks.

"You don't?!" Jin whispers but he's yelling and Jimin just moves his head forward trying to get the boy to spill the deets.

"You're kidding." Jin scoffs, "Yifan is the best model in our school. He went abroad to China just to model for Vogue y'know?"

After learning that, his head turns back towards Yifan who had his arm around Yoongi's shoulders comfortably and it had Jimin's eye twitch a little in whatever this feeling was.

The feeling of not wanting to lose.

"Jimin, where're you going?" Jin whispers as Jimin gets up from his seat, but he's merely ignored as the boy strides over rather confidently. His head was held up high and Jin could only imagine what was about to happen.

'That big head of his is going to get him in trouble one day.' Jin thinks and shakes his head as he goes back to doodling in his notes.

"Yoongi!" He says happily, but he didn't notice the way Yoongi literally flinched when he called out his name, "Are you excited?"

"For what?" Jimin wants to frown when Yifan is the one to respond instead of Yoongi, but he doesn't.

Jimin smiles from ear to ear, "The class trip of course! Only the most talked about thing of this class. Don't tell me you forgot, Yoongi."

Right. The class trip.

The week the forest class will go into a forest and stay out there to experience nature without any source of WiFi, signal, or society.

As Henry David Thoreau believed, people should experience nature and be separated from the life they all know and are accustomed to. People who live freely, live the way they want. No one to judge them, tell them what to do, just them in the middle of the vast forest free to do whatever their heart desired.

It might seem lonely and it surely is here and there, but it all seems worth it when they're free from all the chaos of the world. A place where they can steer clear of the mess that happens on a daily basis. Some are not scared of loneliness, rather they are scared of the forest itself.

Being trained from a young age to stay away from the forest. Don't believe that? Take Little Red Riding Hood for example, Elizabeth's mother tells her to go through the forest to her grandmother and come right back. The most important detail to remember being that her mother tells her not to get distracted in the forest.

But of course she does end up getting distracted.

What happens? Karma, she and her grandmother were eaten by a wolf. The message of the story being don't stay in the forest for too long or disobey authority figure.

Or else you might be eaten by the wolf. At least that's what their professor told them.

"Of course I didn't forget." Yoongi mumbles.

Yifan tilts his head slightly and runs the backside of his finger along Yoongi's cheek. It makes Jimin tense up again, "Shortcake, when is it?"

"Next week." Jimin says a little sourly and Yifan looks at the model boy with an annoyed look etched on his face.

"Are you my Shortcake?" Jimin opens his mouth to speak, but Yifan cuts him off, "Exactly, no. You're not my Shortcake."

Jimin's face burns a light red, not really knowing why, but he wanted to set this Yifan guy straight.

However he is unable to do so since their professor walks into the classroom, greeting the students immediately.

"Hi my little adventurers, I have a new TA and he'll just be helping with the grading and such, but he's willing to help out anyone who needs the help." The professor smiles as the TA walks in, "This is Jung Hoseok."

Jin stops doodling.

Namjoon's busy staring at Hoseok with a glint in his eyes. He couldn't believe that his crush will be in the same class as him from now until the end of the fall quarter. It was all like a dream.

Jin's eyes move from Hoseok who stood at the way bottom and Namjoon who couldn't even look away.

The pencil in his hand snaps in half and he looks disappointed when he realized it. What bothered him was the fact that not only was Namjoon staring at Hoseok, Hoseok was also staring right at Namjoon now.

"Why's everything so fucking complicated?" Jimin whispers as he sits back down in his seat.

"I don't know." Jin whispers back.

"Hello! I'm Jung Hoseok. Professor pretty much explained what I'll be doing here, but I'm looking forward to getting to know and help each and everyone of you!" He chuckles making Namjoon's heart clench and he's suddenly attacking Yoongi's arm trying to contain a small scream.

Hoseok sees it and he can't help but find him to be the cutest boy he'd ever seen, "I hope we all get a chance to know each other better during the trip next week. We'll be out there for a week, so... haha."

The professor, along with every student in the class besides Jin, clapped and Hoseok takes a seat. Then the lesson starts.

"Let's start with Richard Louv."
