"That one!" Two voices say in unison.

"The Chimmy for?" The student running the booth looks at an aggravated Jimin and Yifan, the stuffed dog in his hands. They both look each other for a moment and without hesitating, they both yell.

"Yoongi!" "Me!"

"Aha!" Yifan laughs and grabs the plushie out of the students hand, "You didn't say whoever that girl is, therefore I get it." Jimin's obviously irritated and when he sees him starting to hand the plushie to Yoongi, the underclassman excited to receive it, Jimin's quick to rip it out of Yifan's hand.

When Jimin's got the plushie secure in his hands he turns and smiles at Bo-Young, "Here you g-..."

"Bro, what the fuck?" Yifan yells and takes the plushie back in his hands and securely hugs it into his chest when Jimin tries to take it back, so on and so forth.

Yoongi's tired watching this unfold, sure he wanted the plushie at first, but seeing how much commotion a cheap knockoff of a relatively popular character had caused, he suddenly didn't want it anymore. "Just let him have it." He mumbles.

Yifan's hesitant at first, but he eventually gives into his Shortcake's request and hands the stuffed plushie back to a giddy Jimin. He victoriously took it back and gladly handed it over to Bo-Young who accepted it with a huge grin stamped on her face.

"C'mon Shortcake, I'll take you out and we can have some real fun." Jimin feels his heart drop slightly at the nickname, but he pushed it out of his thoughts when he realized he felt that way. Why did he feel that way? Something stupid like that shouldn't be affecting him.

Yoongi nods his head and takes Yifan's hand in his to escape the scene.

"Hmm." Bo-Young sighs as she watches the two boys leave hand in hand. Jimin hums back in response to ask what she had in mind, but she quickly brushed it away.

"Nothing, lets go."

"No~" Yoongi whines, "You don't have to buy those!" His effort has gone to waste because Yifan already finished paying for two plushies, a Shooky and a Chimmy. Note, those weren't the stupid cheap knockoffs like the ones at the fair, these were the real deal.

Yifan hands Yoongi the bags with a huge smile on his face seeing how his Shortcake's face lit up when he was receiving them, "'You don't have to buy those' my ass." He chuckles, "You look like you're about to cry, Shortcake."

"S-so what if I am?" Yoongi stutters and he starts tearing up even more, Yifan's absolutely flabbergasted and he pulls the small boy into a hug.

"Shortcake~" He coos, "Don't cry. You deserve the whole world, this... this is nothing." Yifan sounds a small laugh and pats Yoongi's back as the boy sobs into his friends chest.

Truthfully, it wasn't only the fact that he was given two adorable stuffed plushies, but all his pent up emotions had finally started overflowing and there was no stopping it now.

Why was life so complicated?

"S-Sorry." Yoongi sniffles and finally pulls away from Yifan. He brings his hand up to his face and wipes away his tears with the soft fabric of his oversized black long sleeved shirt. A few more sniffles later, he finally manages to compose himself and his friend crouches in front of him.

Yoongi climbs onto his back and wraps his legs around his waist as his friend gets back up and starts to walk towards the direction of their school, which wasn't very far away from where they were.

It was quiet most of the way back.

"You know that forest class?" Yifan asks and Yoongi's heavy lidded eyes were shot open, kind of disgusted by the fact that it was even brought up. He hates that class, had he mentioned that yet? If not, he hates it.

An irritated groan can be heard from Yifan's back and Yoongi tightens his grip around him, "What about it?"

"C'mon Shortcake, be a bit happier would ya? I'm going to be there with you starting tomorrow after all."
