"Something new and exciting, please." Riley grinned as Charlotte and Maya sat next to her at the bay window.
"We've done everything." Charlotte told her.
"Wouldn't it be a sad situation if that were true?" Riley asked, causing Maya and Charlotte to look at her, "Oh."
"You got something?" Maya asked before Riley nodded.
"Oh."
"I predict that the next thing you say is gonna be ridiculous." Charlotte said.
"We should have our Sweet Sixteen now!" Riley exclaimed.
"I'm right."
"Well, you see, Charlotte and I just turned fifteen and your eight." Maya told her.
"I have all my big teeth." Riley sang with a smile.
"We can't have a Sweet Sixteen." Charlotte told her.
"I didn't get my bat mitzvah."
"You're not Jewish." Charlotte said.
"I didn't get my quinceanera." Riley said.
