Over the next week, Jungkook visited the Magic Shop twice. Each time, he was greeted by Yoongi behind the counter, and Jungkook had learned that Yoongi wasn't one for words. However, that was the only other host Jungkook saw during his visits. He guessed that the others were off at their other jobs or they were with clients, but he wasn't about to ask about them. He was thankful he didn't have to deal with talking to everyone, especially Jimin.

He found he enjoyed being at the Magic Shop with Namjoon. He still felt uncomfortable in the common room when Yoongi was in there with a client, but when Namjoon took him in a private room, he felt okay, comfortable even. He felt safe.

That night, he planned back to the Magic Shop with the intent to fulfill the desire he wrote on his card a week ago, but right now, he was tearing into his reflection in his bedroom mirror. He had dressed a bit nicer, adding a tie on top of his white button down, but he hoped no one would really notice. He tugged at his clothes, hoping he could fix that problem that wasn't even there, before giving up and throwing himself on his bed.

He let out a loud sigh as his arms fell out to his sides. His eyes fixated on a speck on the ceiling before he screwed then shut and flailed his limbs about angrily, letting out frustrated growls.

"Ugh! Why can't I just be a man?!" He huffed to his ceiling. "It's not even that big of a deal!"

He could feel tears prick at his eyes as silence set back in.

"Maybe I just shouldn't go." He whispers to himself. "It's not like he would even care. I'm paying him to do this."

That's when he thought about their conversation. How Namjoon told him that he really didn't do this for the pay. Sure, getting money was nice, but he enjoyed connecting and helping people more than anything else.

That's how Jungkook ended up back at the Magic Shop, pushing his appointment card across the counter to a silent Yoongi before sitting on the couch. He tried not to look nervous as he waited, but he could feel that he wasn't doing a very good job. He hated wearing ties. He absolutely hated it. Everyone always told him that he looked better with one and he really wanted to impress Namjoon, so here he was, wearing a tie. He pulled at it slightly to loosen it, but it didn't help. Maybe he was just thinking too much.

Soon, Jungkook was greeted by Namjoon, and he asked if he wanted to sit in the common room or a private room to which Jungkook shyly stuttered out, "P-Private."

He saw Yoongi raise his eyebrow at him. He know something was going on, and Jungkook hated that feeling. He felt dirty, and he wanted nothing more than to run away. However, Namjoon didn't react. He simply lead Jungkook back to one of his private rooms and shut the door behind them after displaying a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the front.

The two settled on the couch together. They had gotten closer with each other within the past visits, and even simply sitting close enough that their thighs touched was significant progress. The two settled into a conversation until Namjoon stopped, looking over Jungkook's whole body.

"What?" Jungkook questioned.

"You look different," Namjoon mumbles, "but I can't figure out what it is."

Jungkook's cheeks light up. Namjoon noticed. He smiled but quickly hid it and started fumbling with his tie, "I wore a tie tonight."

"That's what it is." Namjoon chuckles. "What made you wear a tie tonight? You look like you hate it."

Jungkook shrugs, mumbling in a small voice, "I just....I wanted....I'm stupid."

He scooted himself away from the older in embarrassment, scrunching up his shoulders.

"Oh, baby, you aren't stupid." Namjoon cooed.

Jungkook felt his whole body freeze. Baby. Did he just? The name fell out of Namjoon's lips so naturally, but it made Jungkook's face turn a dark shade of red.

"Tell me what it is."

"I wanted to look nicer when we.......when we......y'know" he stoped and then whispered, "kiss."

Namjoon smiled, his eyes turning into little crescents. He let out a chuckle and shook his head slightly, "You look nice all the time."

"R-Really?" Jungkook mumbled, still looking down into his lap.

"Really." Namjoon said simply. "But do you want to take it off?"

Jungkook nodded, feeling smaller than he ever had before.

"Come here," Namjoon whispered under his breath as he moved closer to Jungkook, "May I?"

Jungkook just nodded again, but Namjoon made him answer verbally. After hearing Jungkook agree, he began working on untying the boy's tie, his big hands gentle and soft. Jungkook felt himself tense up again at the feeling of Namjoon's fingers on his neck, but it was different this time. This time, it was a feeling Jungkook would gladly welcome again.

"There we go." Namjoon sighed as he pulled the tie over Jungkook's head and laid it on the small table in front of them.

Namjoon leaned in again and fluffed Jungkook's collar a bit, and the boy felt better. He did. Now that he didn't have that stupid thing on, he felt more comfortable, but he wished that he had a reason for Namjoon to keep his hands around his neck.

"Thank you." Jungkook mumbled, glancing up at the man before pulling his eyes away. How was he ever going to kiss this man if he couldn't even look at him?

"Now tell me." Namjoon hooked a finger under Jungkook's chin and pushed his head up so Jungkook had no choice but to look into his eyes, "Are you ready for this to happen?"
