Bakehebi the acid viper wyvern is a snake wyvern that inhabits the Rotten Vale.
Bakehebi's name is derived from the Japanese words bake (ghost) and hebi (snake). This is how to pronounce the name (ba-ke-he-bee).
Bakehebi's skin and wing membranes are black with the spots scattered throughout its body being dark red, the bone pattern on its body are light gray.

Bakehebi has no element and its ailments are poison and defense down, and finally Bakehebi is weakest to ice and thunder, but it is advised to not use any poison attacks on Bakehebi because all it will do is increase the chance of getting poisoned by its attacks.
Bakehebi's fighting style is a bit similar to Tigrex's, but as for which of the two is more dangerous, that is your choice.

1:Bakehebi will attempt to bite the player. (50 percent chance of getting poison and 45 percent to be hit with defense down.)
2:Bakehebi will swing its claws at you.
3:Will swing its tail at the player.
4:Will smash its tail on the ground causing rocks to be flung in the opposite direction from where it was facing.
5:Bakehebi will spray poisonous acid at you. (100 percent chance of getting defense down and 75 percent chance of getting hit with poison.)
6:Bakehebi will charge spin at you similarly to Dokuyuki, but instead of iceblight it will be defense down. (100 percent chance of getting defense down.)
7:Will spray poisonous acid in a clockwise direction while swinging its tail in a corner clockwise direction. (50 percent chance of getting poison and 100 percent chance of getting defense down.)
8:Will lock on to the player and begin to chase him for up to ten seconds, and as it runs it will send stones flying around that could hit other players if playing in a group.
9:While Bakehebi is in the air it will swing its tail in a corner clockwise direction up to three times causing massive amounts of damage to the player.
10:Bakehebi will fly high up in to the sky before dropping back down and crashing its body onto the ground causing stones to be flung in all directions.
Bakehebi's wings, claws and bumps on its head are breakable and the tail is severable.
Bakehebi is one of the strongest monsters in the Rotten Vale so it doesn't back down from turf wars.

Bakehebi might be the acid viper wyvern but originally it was called the hammer viper wyvern. Bakehebi is the fourth and final member of the new world snake wyvern, therefore it is related to the Quetzalphon, Dokuyuki and Koraruhebi. When Bakehebi stays perfectly still it resembles a carcass. This causes other predators to think it's dead and come closer thinking they are going to get a free meal, but when they get too close Bakehebi strikes and secures its meal. Bakehebi might have no fangs, but its bite can still do a lot of damage thanks to its stomach acids that it can spray at opponent or prey. If a Bakehebi loses its tail it will permanently be in an enraged state. Bakehebi is surprisingly much more comfortable on the ground than in the air unlike its relatives. Bakehebi does not have a good sense of smell or eyesight but its hearing is incredibly sensitive so sneaking up on it is very hard, but if you use scream pods that can cause Bakehebi to be stunned and completely helpless.
Overall Bakehebi is a fearless, powerful and very aggressive monster that can hear every sound you make so be very very quiet.
