What About Me

You said today,

That you haven't fallen in love,

Not yet at least.

When I told you,

That I wanted no one else but you,

You never said a word.

Then you asked me,

Months later,

If I really did mean that.

Then I told you,

I was just drunk.

But what the fuck was I thinking.

I love you,

More than you could ever imagine,

I love you, more than I could ever express.

You've heard some of these poems,

But of course,

You haven't heard them all.

I'm afraid,

That even if you heard every word written on these pages,

That even then, you'd never say a word.

But you said today,

That you haven't fallen in love,

Not yet at least,

And I couldn't help,

But scream at the walls of my own skull,

"What about me"
