Don't ask,
But I can't help imagining fanciful words to describe you.
I'd write novels upon novels of just those words,
If eventually, they'd mean something to you.
Don't ask,
But every time I hear your voice, my mind ponders the feeling of your breath on my skin,
I'd direct movies, sing songs, or even write a poem or two based on that sensation alone,
If eventually, you'd want to feel that too.
Don't ask,
But whenever I see pictures of you, I pretend you're seeing them with me.
I'd become a photographer and take pictures of every sunset and sundown
If eventually, you'd spend a couple with me.
Don't ask,
But my heart stops whenever I stare into your eyes.
I'd erase everything else on this Earth,
If eventually, you'd stare back.
Don't ask,
But I care more about you than you ever have me,
I'd change every aspect of myself,
If eventually, you'd love me too.
