The D Word

Giselle POV

I shot open my eyes as the d word filled my ears. He vowed to me he would never say those words, he told me he loved me, he promised me that he would never leave me for as long as we live. Clearly those vows we made mean absolutely nothing to him.

Giselle- What ! No that's- why ? (Eyes watering)

Shawn- Baby, I've been thinking about this for weeks and I've made up my mind

Giselle- But why, why didn't you tell me you weren't happy I could've did something different made some changes (crying)

Shawn- Selle, look I just feel like this is the best thing for us

Giselle- But why ? (sounding sad)

Shawn- I just don't feel happy with you anymore

Giselle- But I love you, I'm in love with you, you can't leave me what about Izzy what is she gonna think when she gets older and her father isn't around as much as mother ?

Shawn- I'll still be there for her, I'll always be there for her I wouldn't dare leave her

Giselle- But you would leave me ?

Shawn- Selle I'm sorry I ju-

Giselle- Shawn I don't think you understand I am in love with you, you are my life, I would die for you, I would kill for you hell I'd do anything for you and at one point you would do the same thing for me I just wanna know where all that love and passion went ? (Crying hystericaly )

Shawn- Look you know I'd do anything for you and I don't know if that love and passion is still there anymore I just don't feel happy

Giselle- (sighs) You know what Shawn I don't feel like arguing with you so can you please leave (calming down)

Shawn- Selle I'm sorry (kisses her cheek)

I walked up to my room angrily and started throwing and breaking things. Tired, I took off my clothes and just sat in the shower with streaming hot water flowing on my body and just cried. When the water started getting cold that's when I turned of the water, wrapped myself in a towel, crawled into my bed and cried until I fell asleep.

*The next day*

Feeling someone shake me I opened my eyes to see Alexis standing over me. I sat up and I instantly got this acheing headache.

Alexis- What the hell happened in here ?

Giselle- I threw things (walking to the bathroom)

Alexis- Naw duh bitch I just wanna why you threw things wait did Shawn and you get into a fight ?

Giselle- No, I did this because Shawn asked for a Divorce and I got mad when he left and started throwing things

Alexis- He did what ? Why ?

Giselle- He said he wasn't happy anymore I personally thought that was a bunch of bullshit but it's whatever

Alexis- No Selle you have to at least try to save your marriage I mean you had a baby together isn't that worth something ?

Giselle- (sighs deeply) Your right (looking down) I'll talk to him and see if we work something out

Alexis- Good now give me a hug cause I gotta date

Giselle- (gives her a hug) Where are you going and who are you going with ?

Alexis- A guy that I've been talking to for about a month now and I don't know where we're going but I gotta go now so later love you and talk to Shawn (yelling from downstairs)

After Alexis left I decided to call Shawn to see if we can meet for lunch.

*Ring ring ring*

Shawn- Hey Selle

Giselle- Hey um can we meet somewhere for lunch I really need to talk to you about earlier

Shawn- Yeah how about Cheadder's at 3

Giselle- Okay later

Shawn- Later

When i got off the phone with Shawn I went into the bathroom and did my hygiene routine. Walking back into my room I realized that I had a huge mess to clean up when I got back, I laughed to myself and went to my closet. I decided to wear some light tight fitted shorts, with a hot pink top, a light Jean jacket and black heels. After I finished applying my makeup I text Shawn to tell him I was on my way to the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant Shawn wasn't there so I waited. 15 minutes later Shawn still wasn't here so I called him and when I didn't an answer I started getting worried. 5 minutes later I got a call from Shawn's sister saying he was in a bad car accident. While driving and speeding thorough traffic I was balling at the same time. Arriving at the hospital I jumped out of the car and went to the receptionist desk (rd)

Giselle- Excuse me I'm looking for my husband Shawn Carter

RD- I don't know where he at (twirling her hair)

Giselle- (grabbing her shirt) Look bitch I am not in the mood for playing games today especially with an ignorant asshole so I suggest you look in that computer and tell me where my husband is at !

RD- He's on the 3rd floor

Giselle- Thank you

* 3rd floor*

Angela- Hey Selle

Giselle- Hey where is he ?

Angela- In surgery but he should be out soon

Giselle- Okay good

Angela- But how are you Shawn told me everything that happened

Giselle- Yeah I'm fine

*1 hour later*

Doctor- Hello Ladies, so Shawn is now out of surgery and is now in recovery you may see him now or even he wakes up if you like

Giselle- Um thanks but what happened?

Doctor- A 18 Wheeler almost hit the side of his car but missed he hit a tree and the 18 Wheeler crashed into the car behind him and killed the man

Giselle- Oh my god

Doctor- Yeah but I gotta get back to my job

Giselle- Of course

An hour after Shawn was on recovery Angela came out and I went in. He was wide awake and all I could do was cry.

Shawn- Why are you crying I'm still living

Giselle- These are happy tears

Shawn- Oh well there still tears and you know I don't like it when you cry so stop please

Giselle- (hugs him ) I'm so sorry I kinda got mad at you earlier I was angry

Shawn- It's cool

Giselle- The reason I wanted to meet for lunch is because I wanted you to know that I want us to go to counseling to try to save our marriage

Shawn- I would do anything  cause while I was spinning out of control and while my life flashed before my eyes all I thought about you so I'm letting you know that I will try anything cause I am willing to fix what we had and make it work

Giselle- (smiles) Okay (kisses him)
