The summer set

Lauren's pov

So a couple of weeks ago one of my favourite bands, the summer set announced that they would be playing two headline shows in the UK and I was desperate to go. But Tristan insisted that I couldn't go because Sunday Skyline needs to get their Christmas single finished and released. I was devastated that I couldn't go to the concert, it's like me saying to Tristan that he can't go to a Blink 182 concert because he has a tour to plan. ERGH!

Today was the day of the concert that I would not be attending so I decided that instead of wallowing in my own self pity I would try and forget about it. I walked down stairs still in my pyjamas, only to find my dearest boyfriend sat in the lounge with the rest of his band. As soon as I entered the room he stood up and walked over to me before wrapping his long arms around me and kissing my temple.

"Lauren, I have decided that we haven't done something just the two of us in a while" Tristan started to speak not breaking the embrace while he looked me in the eyes. "So I decided that we should take a trip back up to Liverpool because we hardly got to see any of it when we were there last. What do you think?"

I nodded desperately knowing it was the city that the summer set are playing the O2 academy.

"Good because I have already booked the train tickets and the hotel room, so if you said no I would have had to make you go anyway" he laughed breaking the embrace as I went to get ready (outfit in link) and pack an overnight suitcase.

As soon as I was ready and packed I went back down stairs, this time I went back down the stairs this time to find only Tristan sat in the lounge. He turned around to face me

"Are you ready to go?" he asked

"I think so" I smiled at him

He walked over to me and took my suitcase while I picked up my guitar case

"What's that for?" he asked when he noticed the guitar case

"well myself and the girls haven't done a cover in a while. Come to think of it neither have you and the rest of the Vamps so I thought to make up for it we could do one together. What do you say?"

"Yeah sounds like a good idea I think the fans will love it" a smile crept across his face as he fiddled with something in his jacket pocket.

We walked out the door which I locked behind me. Then we hopped into Tristan's car and drove to the train station. On the train we took a cute couple selfie and both tweeted from our personals accounts

After that I suggested the idea again that while we were here we could go to the summer set concert. But yet again he said no, well it was worth a try.

We finally arrived at Liverpool and after dropping our bags of at the hotel room we headed into the city centre and did some shopping. While walking down the street we came across a band made up of four teenage boys. I have to admit they were really good. One of the lads recognized myself and Tristan and asked what it was like to be in a well known band and also what things the band need to do to get big. We told the lads in the band that we would put a good word in for them with our record label and see what we can do. Afterwards we carried on and had a late lunch in McDonalds because we didn't eat on the train. During the meal Tristan and I were just talking about the random stuff that we usually talk about. However the mood soon turned quite serious

"Lauren I have something to say to tell you" I started to panic as these words left Tristan's mouth, had he cheated on me ?,  was he going to dump me? these were all the questions running through my mind
