Laurens POV
We were woken up by Sally knocking on the room door. I walked over and answered it to her; she told me that we had half an hour to get packed and ready, if we haven’t already.
We all gathered in the lobby and checked out off the hotel. As we made our way to the bus that was taking us to the airport because it was a 27 hour drive from New York and we wouldn’t make it in time for the concert. Brooke’s phone pinged, so she took it out of her pocket and opened the message
“Who’s it from?” I looked over her shoulder at the phone but before I could see who it was she had begun to tell me
“It’s Jems, he asks if we arrived home safely, so I just replied saying that we are home safely and that we are missing them a lot” I giggled and walked to the back of the bus to put my luggage in. Once everyone was in the bus we made our way to the JFK airport. It was the usual lounging around and shopping in the terminal until our flight was called.
*Skip flight*
We boarded the flight at 1 o’clock and the flight lasted four hours, by the time we had collected our luggage it was half past five which meant that we 2 hours to get to the venue, which was an hour and 17 minutes drive from the airport we had flown into. Austin had arranged for our tour bus to come and pick us up from the airport. It’s a good job that we were picked up by the tour bus because it meant that we could set everything up and we could also watch TV or something instead of being bored for the journey. I took my suitcases on to the bus with me so that I could sort all my things out the other girls did the same.
We were about 30 minutes into the journey to the freeman coliseum which was the venue we are playing tonight. I was sat around the table with Brooke, Georgina and Sara when my phone buzzed I took it out to look at the message
From Trissy : Hey babe just checking that you are okay and what you are up to at the moment, and by the way I am missing you loads xxxx
As a read the message I couldn’t help but smile at how cute it was and also the fact that he and the rest of the vamps had no idea what was going to happen tonight. I text him back
To Trissy: I miss you to and tell the rest of the lads that the girls miss them too. To answer your questions I am fine and we got home safely and at the moment we are all back at the band house just chilling and writing some new songs, watching movies that kind of thing. Bye bae xxxx
“Who was that?” I looked across the table to Georgina how had asked the question
“Oh it was just Tris checking up on me”
“I can’t wait to see their faces tonight when we play our set, speaking of which we haven’t sorted one out yet!” The rest of the journey was spent deciding what 3 songs we were going to play tonight. The songs that we decided that we are opening our new song called odds are, stay out and finish on not another song. I think that the set list may vary each night so that it’s something different for each crowd.
By the time we pulled up at the back of the venue the show had started first up was Shawn Mendes who was currently performing, then it’s the vamps and after them fifth harmony, when fifth harmony have finished their set Austin is going to go on stage and announce us.
