Day 4 since

On the short drive my Kym's place to mine, I couldn't help but feel excited to see them again. Jensen let the sound of the radio fill the silence in the car, not that the car was silent with the constant grumbling roar of the engine.

I knew that my mom was probably at home but that my dad wouldn't be home for a few hours because he had to work.

As we pulled into the driveway I could see my mom through the large front window. She rose from the couch before quickly reaching the door and racing down the front steps. Neither Jensen or myself had even getting out of the vehicle by the time she was standing at the bottom of the stairs.

Before grabbing ahold of any of my belongings, I threw the door open to be able to wrap my arms around my mom. There's no greater feeling in the world than to go home and be embraced by the arms of your family. Being in my moms arms was always one of the safest places in the world.

She held on so tight and whispered how much she missed me. As Jensen got out of the car and came around, she let go of me and gave Jensen a quick hug.

After the exchanging of hugs and such, we all made our way inside with the small bags we'd brought. My mom put on a pot of coffee as Jensen and I went to my room and placed our bags and other minimal belongings away for the time being. Soon enough the smell of coffee began to waft through the open door and I swear, it was like Jensen was floating away towards it like a cartoon character. It's like that man has a caffeine addiction.

_

Unfortunately the time of day had come that Jensen had to be getting home soon too after being away for so long. My mom stayed in the house as I walked out with Jensen. He tossed his bag over to the passenger seat of the vehicle as he got in. I leaned forward against the car for a moment as we said our temporary goodbyes after having spent almost every minute together since leaving.

The rest of the day was nothing too exciting. Over dinner, the topic of discussion the entire time was my trip. Not that I minded, it was great to recall the events of the past month; both the good and bad.

I'd helped my mom clean up afterwards before telling my parents that I was going to sleep because I was still tired from the flight.

Quickly, I showered, changed, and got ready for bed.  It was a strange thought that Jensen wasn't going to be laying six inches away or sipping at coffee when I woke up. I'd become so accustomed to having Jensen around all the time that I couldn't help but miss him.

Just as my cat jumped atop my bed and cuddled up with me, my phone buzzed against my pillow. At first I thought it was my stupid reminders I set for myself years ago but speak of the devil, it was Jensen.

J: it's so lonely sleeping on my own :(

I couldn't help but giggle to myself. Minutes after I had the same thought, he just so happens to send me the same thing. I quickly message back.

Me: it's so cold sleeping alone :(

About ten minutes later with no response I figure he'd passed out. That was until I could hear the familiar growling rumble of Jensens car. My phone lights up and buzzes again.

J♥: unlock ur window! im coming around back

I couldn't hold back a little chuckle here and there. There was a familiar click from my phone as I shut it off before quickly tossing my blankets off of myself and bouncing out of bed. I pulled the curtains half open to be able to unlock my window just as Jensen had shown up in front of me, through the glass.

He smiled at me which caused me to smile back. He pulled the window open and sprung in as quickly as possible to prevent too much cold air from entering my room.

Jensen showed up in a pair of light grey sweats and a black hoodie and trust me, it was a good look on him. I was sort of thankful it felt more cold in my room than usual because it meant that I was actually wearing clothes rather than just a tank top and panties.

_

The next morning I woke to Jensen running his fingers through a small section of my hair. Jensens heat surrounding me made it impossible to want to wake up. I curled into his chest a little closer and looked up at him, my eyes barely open.

 "Morning," he whispered.

I could still feel his fingers sliding through my hair.

"Good morning," I whispered back, inhaling his scent.

As much as my entire body begged me not to pull away from Jensen, I needed to brush my teeth. My first attempt at getting up didn't exactly go as planned, I was pulled back down, unable to get my feet on the ground. Second attempt with persuasion worked a little better.

The process of brushing my teeth became a half hour event. Jensen wouldn't leave me alone and as soon as I thought that I'd be able to finish, he'd pop back in to tickle my ribs or mess with my hair.

Eventually the shenanigans came to an end and I was able to complete the task of brushing my teeth. I'd promised I would come back to bed so that's exactly what I did.

We'd spent all day in my bed watching Netflix on my laptop. There was the rare trip or so upstairs to get food but we were back downstairs within five minutes. That was until my dad got home from work, that's when I knew it was going to get awkward, as per usual.
