Virgil rolled his eyes, turning around while flicking Roman off. The recipient of the crude gesture scoffed jokingly. Virgil smirked as he walked out, not turning back to either of them.
Hey, at least their teasing was becoming more... sarcastic? Mutual? Patton thought. He shrugged. It was a strange relationship, but they were seemingly becoming much better friends. The thought made Patton's grin grow even wider.
He skipped through the halls, making his way to the kitchen with Roman following behind him. Patton talked endlessly, rambling about some of his favorite people from musical to Roman as he prepared breakfast for everyone.
Logan soon strolled into the kitchen, breathing in the smell of bacon. Roman was sitting at the table with a small smile on his face, chin resting on his hands as he listened to Patton's stories.
"What has you two so excited?" Logan asks.
Patton turned to look over his shoulder, still cooking the bacon as he said, "Remember how Roman got some crew members to agree to coming here and helping out? Some of them are coming today! And also some cast members, who will definitely be trying out for roles."
"Huh," Logan nodded, "Will they be arriving here?" Logan gestured around him, insinuating that he was talking about this house, specifically.
Roman offered an answer, "We... actually haven't thought that far. We're probably going to meet up at Fat Boys. We always used to have dinner there as a massive group after opening night."
Patton grinned, "Yes! Oh my god that's perfect, Roman! I didn't even think of that! Grab my phone and tell Hazel that."
Doing as instructed, Roman sent a quick text to the girl. He did, however, mention stopping by at their house first. She sent back a, 'Got it! They're gonna be excited!'
They... Roman thought. That could either mean multiple people or possibly one of the nonbinary people in musical? Damn, there had been a lot. He had no clues! His impatience usually got the better of him, especially now.
However, the plate of waffles, eggs, and bacon that was set in front of him was a nice distraction.

As time passed, Roman and Patton became increasingly excited. They were already prepared to meet their old high school friends. That is to say, they were dressed, ready to go out. They were also emotionally prepared. Slightly.
Clearly, as much as they had been anticipating this moment, it caught them off guard, because the second the doorbell rang, Roman bolted from his seat on the couch and opened the door. He screamed upon seeing some of his favorite people in the world.
Faint footsteps could be heard from across the house, continually getting louder as Patton bounded into the living room. He saw a faint poof of red hair above Roman's head and could instantly tell, based on that, who had arrived. Everyone else was shorter than Roman, so Patton couldn't see them.
Nevertheless, he shouted and ran to the door, instantly tackling the first person he saw in a hug. As he pulled away, he saw it was Dani. Another one of his precious freshmen. Almost all of the people in musical who were younger than him had been his freshmen at one point. She definitely looked less young, but she was recognizable nonetheless. One of her main features, her sense of style, was still very prevalent. She was wearing a denim overall dress layered over a flower-print t-shirt, and her makeup was stunning as usual. She was clearly in a good mood today.
