Another tiring day passed, and Remus finally arrived home from Hogwarts. McGonagall had suggested that he come back at Hogwarts and teach "Defence Against the Dark Arts," and he had accepted the offer.

Remus headed to the kitchen, walking tip toe on the floor. Tonks was staying home for a couple of days because she was ill. She was in the kitchen, making herself a cup of tea. When Remus was close to her, he hugged her from behind.

"Hello Dora!"
"Oh, hi!" Tonks responded, surprised. She turned around, sneezing.
"How are you feeling?" Remus asked a little bit worried.
"I swear, I hate this cold!"
"Don't worry, Tonks, you are going to be fine soon."

Remus kissed her warm forehead. He hoped she didn't have a fever again.

"And I have soooo much work to do! Just look!" Remus saw a table full of papers. "My head hurts, I'm sneezing continuously, but these symptoms aren't as annoying as these reports. Sometimes, I hate the Ministry so much!"
"Tonks, I've told you-"
"-I know Remus, I know. I should've rested. But I must finish writing them until Friday."

Remus squeezed her cold hands.
"Dora, forget about those papers and relax. Relax this evening. You won't get well if you're not resting. I'll help you with your work."
"I think you're right..."
"Did you take the medicine?"
"How could I forget?"

He hurried upstairs. Tonks sat on the couch when Remus came back with a blanket. He wrapped her like a sushi and held her to his chest. Tonks was slowly starting to feel better. She wasn't cold anymore.

"How was your day?"
"Everything was fine."
"Nothing interesting happened?" Tonks asked curiously.
"Eh, just some wizards from the Ministry checked my classes."
"Why? I don't think there's someone better at teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts than you!"

Remus' mouth curved into a sad smile.
"They heard that I'm teaching again..." He made a pause. "They wanted to make sure I don't harm anybody."
"HARM anybody?"
"That's right. And if I'm good enough to be a professor. They asked the students if they enjoyed my classes." His face lightened. "They all said yes. Some of them even said they love this subject just because of me!"
"I bet those bastards were jealous of you!" Tonks laughed.

She took his face in her hands.
"Do you remember?" she started, "when you told me you won't accept this job because nobody wants you to be there?"
"Yes, I remember."
"And do you remember when I told to take the job because you're perfect for it and the kids will love you?"
"Yes..."
"I guess I wasn't wrong..." she said, smirking.

A smile from ear to ear spread on his face. He kissed the top of her nose.
"Oh, I almost forgot," Remus continued, "I'm free the rest of this week. I won't go to Hogwarts. McGonagall said it's alright if I stay home and take care of you."
"Really?"
"Yeah! And I'll help you finish your work."

Tonks nestled her head in his neck.
"Thank you so much! I really don't know what would I do without you." She immediately covered her mouth so as not to sneeze on him.
"Bless you!" he responded, giggling.

Outside was pouring cats and dogs. The rain was pounding on the windows. Tonks snuggled in Remus' arms, and both of them fell asleep.
