It's like... she knows but, she's throwing questions to try and make me slip up. Jaxon will be the first I tell. I love my Mom but, I want to tell him first and I am going to tell him soon. Just don't know when...

"C'est une bonne nouvelle.(That's wonderful news!)" My Mom gushed over the phone. She looked at me with a beaming grin. I wasn't sure what was so exciting but, I'm sure she was going to tell me. "I can't wait! I'll be sure to tell everyone! ...okay, love you too." She hung up before she started dancing in the living room. I giggled. "What's "the wonderful news"?"

"Your aunt Jeanne and Chris are getting married!"

I smiled. "That's great!"

My Aunt Jeanne lives in France along with the rest of my Mom's side of the family. Even though it's been forever since I've been to France, we've all always kept in touch so I knew what was going on through my cousin, Caroline. My Aunt Jeanne finally meeting the love of her life after her ex-husband had passed away a little after I was born.

My Mom continued on speaking. "And.... we're going to go to the wedding in a few weeks!"

Now that caused me to get up and start sporadically dancing with my Mom.

"What did I just walk into?" Jaxon closed the door behind him as he stared at us with amusement. My Mom beamed. "We're going to France!"

Jaxon's eyes widen. "Seriously?"

"Yes! Oh! I gotta go and tell your father and brother the news. Be sure to tell Kamila, Kimora." My Mom said as she grabbed her purse and gave me a kiss and Jaxon a hug. She then skipped out of the apartment with a huge smile.

Jaxon chuckled, staring at the door my Mom just exited out of. "I never saw your mother so happy before."

"That's because we haven't seen our family from France for so long and she's very fond of i5 too," I explained. His mouth formed into an 'o' as he settled down a bakery bag and brown bag on the table. He wrapped his arms around my waist. "What about you?"

"I'm excited. I've been waiting for this day for you to meet the rest of my family." I tangled my hands in his hair. "Did trim your hair?"

"Yeah. That's why it took me a little longer to come back." He smirked. "I'm tired of you tugging on my hair."

"I can still do it and I know you like it when I do it. You let out little moans as no one can hear you." I poked his nose. His cheeks got a little red to them and he looked away from me. "I don't."

I rolled my eyes. "Sure." Detaching myself from him, I dug into my food. He sat down on the floor, fixing himself in between my legs as he rested his head against them. "So, what's the rest of your family like?" Jaxon asked.

"Crazy."

He snorted. "I doubt it. Your Mom isn't crazy. She's nice and calm."

"Yeah because she's not around them but, she will be when she's in her element. You've only seen my mother's calm and collected side for the most part." I wiped some frosting off the cupcake I was munching on, feeding it to him.

"I'll believe it when I see it."

He had no idea what he was in store for...

Jaxon and I sat and ate as we watched Netflix for a few hours. It was really just a relaxation day for us. Which I didn't mind at all.

Until Jaxon's phone started ringing. "Yes, Abella?" I silently rubbed my belly while his back was still turned to me as he talked on the phone. I felt nothing at all but, it was still too early. I don't know when I was going to tell Jaxon still...
