My hair had started to fade I realized when I was getting ready to perform. I made a mental note to re-dye it later.
My outfit made me so uncomfortable but I did what I had to. I slipped on my skin tight top and the death traps they called heels.
My tattoos were visible which gained me more money in the long run so it wasn't all bad. My song started which meant I was up.The other girls who worked at Blue Diamond kinda hated me a bit, only because I was young and pretty as one of them explained once. I was their competition only cause I got more tips from being young. They just didn't know exactly how young I was. Only I knew I wasn't able to vote just yet.
I was seventeen almost eighteen and this job kept me out of my house so I was fine with it. Even though it made me look like a slut.
I danced and pranced around the pole in the middle of the stage. Just as I was getting into the groove of it a new group of guys walked in laughing and cheering.
I really hoped they didn't go to my school because that would be bad. Nobody needed to know I worked here. My stepdad came in here once and I faked being sick so he didn't see me.
I'm sure that sick fuck would have enjoyed seeing me like this. It made my insides churn slightly.
I went to great lengths to avoid people finding out I worked here. I didn't need more taunting from the idiots at my school.
My song ended and I strutted off stage into the dressing room. I had to get into my other uniform to help around the bar.
