Unexpected (Part 1)

Dan smiled a bit, looking at the boardwalk and the pretty beach, the rollercoaster quickly went down causing everyone on the ride to scream loudly.

The ride went straight down, causing everyone to scream. Then it reached the bottom, continuing to go around quickly. Phil smiled a bit to himself.

Dan smiled a bit and enjoyed the rest of the ride, it was full of many, turns and loops. Eventually it ended and the bar went up, allowing everyone to get off.

Phil hopped off, walking out of the line and smiled a bit. "So, what do you want to do next?" He asked.

Dan looks around and shrugged "Hm, maybe one of the games?" He suggested and pointed to one that he remember them playing the first time they came here.

"Okay." Phil said happily, heading over to the game booth and remembering them playing it last time they came here and how Dan had beaten him at it.

Dan followed him and sat down at one of the stools, he paid the person working at the booth for them to play. The game soon started and even tho it's been years since they've played it, it seemed quite easy for Dan.

Phil sat down on the stool next to Dan and began playing. He found it easy but if he remembered correctly, Dan would surely beat him again.

Dan continued playing the game, currently they are tied, he remembered last time they played he won, but the scores were very close.

Phil continued to play, seeing the scores had been tied. He highly doubted that he would win, though, remembering Dan's winning last time.

Eventually the game ended and Phil had won by a few points, Dan smiled "Good job!" He smiled and kissed his cheek quickly.

"Thank you." He smiled, feeling surprised that he had actually won the game. Phil chose his prize;a medium sized blue llama stuffed toy and handed it to Dan.

Dan smiled and took it from him, happily. "Thank you baby." He blushed and put his arm around Phil's shoulder.

"You're welcome, cutie." Phil smiled, wrapping an arm around him and leaning his head against Dan's shoulder.

Dan blushed and leaned his head against Phil's "anything else you want to do while we're here?" He smiled

Phil smiled softly and looked around,"Wanna go on the ferris wheel?" He asked quietly.

Dan smiled back and looked over at the big Ferris wheel. "Yeah that sounds fun" he replied and began walking towards the Ferris wheel with Phil.

"Okay." He said softly, beginning to walk towards the ferris wheel line with Dan which wasn't that long at all.

Dan waited in the line and looked at the Ferris wheel as people got on and off it.

Phil walked forward with Dan, seeing people getting off and the ferris wheel going around once again. '

Dan stepped forward until it was finally their turn to get on, he smiled and got inside the little cart, waiting for it to start to go up again.

Phil walked onto the ferris wheel and sat down next to Dan, closing the tiny gate on the cart.

Dan smiled, he held Phil's hand as the Ferris wheel started again and their cart began to move up off the ground.

Phil held his hand lightly, leaning his head on Dan's shoulder and kissing his cheek softly.

Dan smiled and looked down at phil, placing and small kiss on his head and looking out at the nice view of the beach that got clearer as they went up.

Phil looked out the edge of the cart, looking down at the beautiful beach and the rest of the boardwalk.

"It's such a nice day." Dan smiled and let out a happy sigh. He leaned his head against Phil, enjoying the pretty beach.

"Yeah, it really is." He smiled back, playing with Dan's hand, his head leaning on Dan's shoulder.

Dan nodded and looked down at their hands. He smiled a bit, he loved spending time with Phil.

The ferris wheel cart slowly began to make its way back down again, Phil watching over the end of the cart as it descended.

Dan watched the cart as it went down, it was almost time for them to get off, the people in the cart in front of them were let off.

The cart finally reached the bottom and Phil opened the tiny gate and walked off the ferris wheel with Dan.

Dan smiled and followed Phil off the ride, he returned his hand to Phil's and looked around, think about what they could do next.

Phil held Dan's hand and glanced around at the boardwalk,"What do you want to do now?" He asked softly.

Dan looked around and shrugged "I don't know.. Maybe we could go to the beach?" He suggested, looking at the beach that was near the boardwalk.

"Alright." Phil said quietly, walking off the boardwalk and towards the beach with Dan, feeling very happy to be with him.

Dan smiled at him and kissed his neck "I love you." He said softly and began walking towards the beach with him.

Phil blushed a bit and smiled back sweetly."I love you, too." He said softly, stepping onto the beach with Dan.

Dan smiled and walked onto the beach, going down to the ocean shore, happy to be with Phil.

Phil walked down the beach with Dan towards the ocean. The water sparkled in the sunlight, waves crashing onto shore.

Dan smiled watching the sparkly ocean water, he sat down at the shore, letting the waves hit his toes.

Phil sat down next to him, smiling a bit and watching the waves cascade onto the sand and hit their toes. He leaned his head on Dan's shoulder.

Dan smiled and took Phil's hand as he looked at the water. He leaned his head against his and enjoyed the feeling of it hitting their feet.

Phil held his hand softly, watching the water swirl around and hit their feet before going back, the same pattern repeating itself. He felt lucky to have Dan and to be at the beach on such a lovely day.

Dan smiled and ran his fingers through the water, appreciating the nice day that they were having.

Phil looked around at all the people in the water or on the beach. He saw the glowing lights covering the boardwalk and smelt the fresh pretzels and funnel cake. It was such a perfect day.

Dan looked down and traced little shapes into the wet sand, enjoying being with Phil on such an amazing day.

Phil kissed Dan's cheek softly,"I'm going to go get a drink from the snack stand on the boardwalk real quick. Do you want anything?" He asked softly.

Dan nodded "I'm fine." He smiled and kissed Phil's nose quickly, before continuing to draw in the sand.

Phil stood up and walked down the sandy beach towards the five small steps that lead him back onto the boardwalk.

Dan laid down in the sand and looked up and the fluffy clouds that were in the light blue sky.

Phil walked up onto the steps of the boardwalk but being the clumsy person he was, tripped on a step, falling to the ground and hitting his head on the boards,"Ah!"

Dan heard Phil yelling and immediately turned around. He saw him and the ground and ran over to him. "Phil! Are you Alright?"
