Tonys POV
I watch as Peter runs to his room. Ever since I have woken up, he has been acting strange. I look at Steve as he shrugs, like always.
"Steve it has been three months, why is he practically avoiding me?" I can feel the tears in my eyes.
"I have no clue" he sets a plate of eggs and bacon in front of me and I dig in quickly, Nat walks into the room and sits down next to me and steals a piece of bacon.
"He is still avoiding you?" I nod and frown, "I think the kid is losing his mind" Steve and I look at her confused.
"What do you mean?" Steve asks. I am wondering the same thing.
"Well, Peter found his platonic soul mate" I can feel my eyes go wide as she says that,
"Wait who is it?" she frowns,
"I do not want to ruin his trust" I frown but then get confused,
"Why would he not want people to know who his soul mate is?" Nat frowns,
"His love soul mate is dead, he doesn't want his platonic soul mate to die too," Steve says as he understands,
"I forgot about that, I hope he at least lest his soul mate know" Nat shakes her head,
"His soul mate would freak out, now I got to go to training. Bucky will kill me if I am late" Steve frowns,
"Better not find you two making out down there again" Nat laughs,
"No promises! bye!" she then leaves as Steve shakes his head.
"Well I got work to do, love you Stevey bear" I kiss his cheek and leave to head to my lab, I wonder who Peters soul mate is.

I look up as Peter jumps next to me, it has been a while and things have gotten slightly better but he refuses to look me in the eyes.
"Tony! Peter!" Steve yells through the comms as one of the buildings come crashing down onto me and my son, the weight of the building squashes us both down to the ground.
"Dad?" I hear Peter weakly say, I look over to see him without his mask. "I-I love you" he barely whispers out.
"Hey, Pete, stay awake kid!" I reach out my hand to his and he holds it lightly, he smiles at me and then says the one thing I thought he would never say,
"I never thought I would die in front of my platonic soul mate" his suit disappears and the mark is as clear as day, the other half of my mark.
"no, Pete no! do not close your eyes. We will get out of here and then we will have so much fun!" Peter smiles as his eyes become dull and his grasp loosens. "Pete no, please no" tears roll down my face as he dies right in front of me. I start feeling myself slip away too but the weight on me disappears and I am being moved. the last thing I remember is Steve letting out a heartbreaking cry.
