After class Mal texted me saying to meet in her and Evie's room, I walk over to mine to put my things back and then I walk over to the girls room. When I walk inside I see Evie working on another dress, Mal laying on her bed reading something and the girl from earlier standing next to Evie's bed. I walk over to Mal and sit down next to her.
"Hey girlies, what are you doing?" I ask
"Nothing much just hanging out. Oh by the way this is Jane, from earlier" Mal says
"Hello Jane. I'm Mal's twin sister, Maddie" I say shaking her hand
"Hello Maddie. Anyways let's get back to what we were talking abut, Mom said, "If a boy can't see the beauty within", then he's not worth it." Can you believe it? What world does she live in?" Jane says sitting down on Evie's bed
"Auradon" Mal the answers without looking up from her book
"Mal, Mad, do you like?" Evie asks us, I look up to see a beautiful dress
"Wow you're so talented Evie" I say
"Thanks Mad, I can make you one if you want" she says
"I would love that" I say and then look at Mal to see what she has to say, she looks up and says "Yeah. It's cute. It brings out your eyes"
"I know" Evie says
"I'll never get a boyfriend" Jane says, it makes me think about Harry.
"Boyfriends are overrated" Mal says looking at me
"And how would you know, Mal? You've never had one" Evie says
"It's 'cause I don't need one, E. They're a waste of time" Mal replies
"I forgot to do Chad's homework! Oh, no! Oh, no, no, no" Evie says running around to find Chad's backpack
"And that is exactly what I mean" Mal says
"You don't need a boyfriend to be happy, me and my ex-boyfriend were definitely not happy all the time" I say
"You have a ex-boyfriend?! What is he like?" Jane asks me
"Not at all what you would imagine a perfect boyfriend being" I say
"They weren't even actually dating, more like friends with benefits that call each boyfriend and girlfriend but aren't" Mal says
"Yeah a lot like that" I say, just then a girl I have never seen walks into the room
"Hey, guys! I'm Lonnie. My mom's Mulan? No? Anyways, I love what you've done with Jane's hair." She says "And I know you hate us, and, well, you're evil. But do you think you could do mine?" She continues. Wow good first impression, NOT!
"Why would she do that for you?" I ask
"I'll pay you 50 dollars" Lonnie says
"Good answer. I need to buy more material. Let's see, I'm thinking, we lose the bangs, maybe some layers and some highlights" Evie says trying to help the girl
"Yeah, yeah. I want it cool. Like Mal's" Lonnie then says
"Really?" Me and Mal say shocked
"The split ends, too?" Evie asks making Mal give her a dirty look before standing up to do the spell
"Okay... "Beware, forswear, replace the old with cool hair."" Mal says making Lonnie head go from side to side and up and down. Lonnie looks at her new hair in shock, Evie walks over to her
"I know. I know. It looks like a mop on your head. You know what? Let's cut it off, layer it..." she says looking at the hair
"No, no, no, no, no, no! I love it" Lonnie says stopping Evie "You do?" Evie asks
"It's just... Now I'm cool" Lonnie says ripping her dress
"Like ice" Mal then says, Jane looks at Lonnie and then walks over to her and looks at herself in the mirror. She thinks for a second before ripping her dress too but regretting it immediately
"What did I just do? Mom's gonna kill me!" She asks us
